It's pretty pricey, buy I ordered a custom sized paco pad. Haven't gotten it in yet, so no reports on whether it's worth the expense, but I wanted something indestructible that wouldn't mold.

I've never heard a bad review of a paco pad. And I know people that would bitch about being hanged with a new rope.

I use a 4" piece of memory foam. I think my wife got it at Walmart or Target, so it's not an expensive one. I also use a fiber bed topper (which might be a Serta or other name brand) on top of the memory foam. The combination is pretty comfortable on top of carpeted plywood. Both are for a full size mattress and fit well in the long bed without any modifications.

I've got two of these. They are OK, but nothing spectacular, if I could do it again I'd get something a little thicker; but the length and width are PERFECT. They are better when I'm alone and I stack them vs. with my wife and we each get one.

I have used something similar that was prone to cracking. It seemed the material was hard and thus was not very flexible.
    Have you noticed that?

Anyone found any behind Rite Air or Walgreen's?
But, that would be theft though, right?

Currently, with 11" space, I use the cardboard boxes that (Qty 4) gallon containers are shipped to grocery stores. The water boxes are better than the milk boxes.

Full? Does the length cause any issues?

I spent a great deal of time looking for the right mattress for a long bed...
That is the exact model "Lucid 4in." tri-fold" that I ended up with, I love it.

@gulzeb _Full? Does the length cause any issues?_

It is only 2 in. over in length (or something) so I leave the small folding section closest to the tailgate. Then the pad is able to tilt upwards when trying to close the topper window.

I've been thinking about getting a big bouldering crash pad and cutting it to size, or getting one custom made for the size of the short bed. Haven't pulled the trigger on it yet.

I got some blue Coleman hybrid mattress (self inflating air + memory foam). Got it at a yard sale, fits the exact dimensions of my platform (6ft) and it's pretty comfortable.
