Yeah, but the nice thing about it is that map can be edited. Not really sure how yet, might have to ask to be a collaborator on it or something.

wish we could somehow mark where gates are and if they're locked (permanently or not).

If you zoom in you can see where the gates are marked. They all look the same, though, so can't tell if they stay closed or what.

There should be a way to export the map data to another app like Gaia, and you can have your trail marked and view it on the go with your phone or tablet.

I'm not the most knowledgeable on it yet, but I'm learning.

Sorry. You're lost. All hope is gone.

Gaia is one of the more popular Nav apps that's available online, as well as for Android and iOS. It'd be like Google Maps for offroad, hiking, stufflikethat.

If they are created as GPX files, should be easy to save and import into GAY-a

am no expert, but last years red clay rally, we were sent GPX files, and then up to us to use them how we saw best. Gay-A worked for me.

Sorry I'm use to real maps and charts and using an actual compass and the map key and scale.

Just in case anyone else was wondering about additional symbols for the openstreetmaps that are not listed on the map key there is a Wiki that should list out all of the symbols with some more detail.

    Wenesday May 23rd

I think we will do some offroading while in town on the 23rd. I know being a Wednesday isnt good for many, but if anyone wants to come that would be cool.

We will probably be leaving from Knoxville so wouldnt really start until just before noon I would imagine.

I had planned to camp, but I dont think it would be fun without a group. Plus I dont know the area well.

There are campsites on this trail you can camp at. Plus hiking/backpacking trails.
