Installed front/rear anytime cameras last night. They work great. Here's what's not great:

    - No power windows
    - No heat/AC control
    - No heated seats
    - No mirror defrosters
    - No sunroof
    - No tire pressure readings
    - SRS light on

ECU-IG No.1, under the dash, blows every time I start the truck. That seems to be the only blown fuse. I'm confident I did something (duh) but have no idea what.

Anyone ever see anything similar? Does it ring a bell with anyone?

    Thanks!

That fuse controls all those systems. Undo you camera mod and see if it still pops..

Where did you tap 12v for your switches and your front camera?

Does the fuse blow when you start or go to acc on the ignition?

If you are blowing a fuse you have a short (or you are overloading the circuit...unlikely with you description). My bet would be you miswired your switches.

I will, cuz I need to try something, but that doesn't seem like it'd do much. The radio, back up camera, new front camera... they all work as advertised. You'd think if it was the camera mod, then there'd be some gremlin showing up there as well, no? (Honest question, electrical isn't my strongest hand)

All the switches and tapping are run trough a perfectly functioning SwitchPro. I'm not sure how that could be miswired. Oh, and the fuse pops at acc, the HVAC screen never even gets time to light up.

I appreciate you guys putting some thought into this.

It's a matter of undoing what you changed. Make sure the truck systems still work correctly. Isolating problem factors.

I agree. Back out one component at a time until the problem goes away.
I'm not familiar with how a SwitchPro works but I know the Front and Rear camera anytime mod schematic very well. The only place you could introduce a short is with the switches or the camera power. Out of curiosity, what did you hook the black wire from the 28 pin harness to?

    - Unplugged both camera jumper harnesses, replaced ECU-IG 1 and 2.

    - Acc ok, windows HVAC back on line.

    - Start truck, everything seems to back online.

Gonna start plugging jumper harnesses back in...

Plugged rear anytime harness back in (28 pin) - fuse blew.

New fuse - rear harness still plugged in, disconnected switch wires from SwitchPro - fuse good.

    Gonna add front camera harness.

Added front harness - fuse good.

I’ve got an ugly somewhere in the rear anytime wires. Probably where I lengthened then...

Remember that the black wire coming off that harness is 12v. Hopefully you didn't hook it to ground.

Ok. Another phone intervention with @Logistics91 and the whole kit works like a boss, as does the rest of the truck.

    Thanks everyone for your assistance!

Thanks JJ for a great kit and an easy manner on the phone.

So glad I found this post. I was blowing my radio 1 fuse and headunit wasn’t turning on at all. Disconnected that wire and it all works for me.

Or was it really intended to be -12v?
