LED lights are all installed. Need to finish the 7 way plug this week. Then I installed the Tepui Kukenam Ruggidized. Fits like a glove.20180430_093419.jpg 20180430_093430.jpg 20180430_115054.jpg 20180430_115103.jpg
I was hoping to take this out on its maiden voyage this week, but this chest cold has me wiped out.

    Great job!
Are you planning on posting dimensions and cost in the future?
I'm going to try out my RTT on my truck rack, but hopefully build a trailer one day!

I will post all the dimensions shortly. Cost is going to be a tough one. I'll try to post what it would cost with parts. I work for a trailer company, so I get an employee discount. Stay tuned.

I took the boys out this weekend on the trailers maiden voyage! It was a short trip, but had fun. We headed out at 5am on Saturday.20180525_211337.jpg
The trailer was smooth, and tracked well. It seems the trailer pulls best with the tire pressure being at 20 psi.20180526_081511.jpg We headed out to the Jawbone Canyon area. The weather was windy and cool, but nice. We looked around for a good spot to camp.20180526_094455.jpg
    20180526_094835.jpg
The pintle hitch worked great. Lots of articulation. The only down fall on the hitch, was that I should've lowered the adjustable coupler a little lower. It was to close to the tailgate once I opened it.
    20180526_105447.jpg
    20180527_104851.jpg
We set up camp, and enjoyed ourselves.
    20180526_103217.jpg
The view was amazing even if we had gusts up to 50 mph.
    20180526_192805.jpg
We hooked up the Luminoodles for the evening. These are a great product. I left these on for about an hour and a half, and the battery pack stayed at full charge. 20180526_224936.jpg
The one thing I'd change is to have more tie down points inside the trailer. It's amazing once you put your gear in, you wish you had other spots to tie stuff down. The boys and I had a great time. Next trip is off to the river, where the boys will get a course in fly fishing each.20180527_105252.jpg

OP You have an awesome build going on here, nice work. id like to pick your brain a little if you don't mind;...…..to quote you
"I purchased a 3500# Dexter axle without brakes. The hub has the same bolt pattern 6x5.5, so I won't have an issue if I have a flat. The TRD wheels were a big splurge"
    Question
    #1--the Dexter axle …...
what size are your wheel studs on the trailer axel ? and at wheel lugs are you using ?
I'm having a problem with my set up, the axel I ordered has 1/2"-20 wheel studs but having a hard time finding 1/2"-20 Mag Seat lugs to use on the TRD wheels that I have ??
Q #2 what led light set up did you use (brake, turn, and markers), they are real nice very slim not big and bulky.
    I appreciate your help
    thanks David

    Answer #1
My axle also had the 1/2"-20. They fit fine, but I had to get some shorter mag seat lug nuts at my local tire shop. The tire shop was able to find them, but they were a little more expensive, but the fit. They had to special order them for me.
    Answer#2
On my lights, I went with the smaller all white bullet LED lights by Optronics (2 Amber, 2 red, and 2 bar lights for the brakes). I work for a trailer company, so I have a parts department right next door.

I'll keep trying. The shop could find the paperwork on Whatcom bought.

My trailer is to small to hold quads. It's only a 4x6.

In the middle of this myself. How did you fare with the 6 on 5.5 dexter hubs and the toyota hub centric wheels? I can't confirm if I need to use a spacer to take it from lug centric -> hub centric. I see you kept the 1/2"-20 lugs, so it must have worked.

I was worried about the same thing. At the time I hadn't purchased the wheels yet. I thought I might need to purchase the spacer to make the wheels fit. Luckily, the wheels fit perfect on the hub. No need to modify anything.

Great! This will save me the expense of spacers.

I'm in same boat myself with the hubs and wheel lugs, I'm using the TRD 4Runner pro wheels, the rims fit okay however I cannot use the wheel center caps, the hubs axle caps protrude half inch too far for the wheel center caps to seat.
OP...I'm going to try some Lugnuts I found on jegs website 1/2-20 open end with .5 inch shank I think they will work out
