No need to be hostile.....I think people on here need to realize when its your truck ya your gonna freak out when somethings not right......I would love to see how you felt if your suspension was not right after spending money on it....... I dont think you would point your finger at yourself......we dont need to be saying someone right or wrong all we can do is help and give advice and I think that the way you just came off was not advice at all.....

That's fine. From what I read there is nothing wrong with his coilovers, if that is indeed what he has. It's the lack of personal accountability I have problems with. End thread jack.

I got my ICON's all the way around put in and took them for a test run last weekend.

They ride almost as harsh as my Revtek did both on the street and offroad, cranked to 3".

    BUT...

I did notice however that the tires don't loose traction and the truck doesn't dance all over the washboard roads anymore. The faster I go the harshness doesn't get any worse, which is nice. Must be the digressive valving ICON uses. If I was to turn them down I'm sure they would be amazing.

I'm thinking of loosing the lift block and turning the coilovers to level the truck out and get some fiberglass front fenders. kinda make it look like a long travel but yet not. It's not just for looks as I'm runing 305/70/16's, so I can justifty the glass.

My point try backing them down a bit and give it a shot.

i thought the same thing when i just recently installed some toytec co, however what people seem to forget is a truck is a truck and "trucks" ride stiff, now that being said better quality shocks Re: kings, fox's offer a better quality ride, alittle bit of difference> probably noticeable; and i am sure long travel shocks ride smoother but remember "a truck is a truck"
next time buy a car if you want a smooth ride
    just my .02 cents

Tim A. toytec is the one that needs to be accountable, so Tim is you purchase a gold brick and get a silver brick you would be fine with right.

Those are preset at 2.5". Swap mine out and the ride was unchanged from factory. There is a chance yours came set at a much higher setting. Post some closeups pics of the CO's will help.

I have mine still preset to 2.5" and up here in T-bay we might have some of the worst paved roads you will ever find and mine handles and rides fine, but it might just be me cause "bumpyness" is kinda a daily part of driving around here.

One persons rough is another persons plush and vice versa.

A lot has to do with having say a reg cab 4 banger or a double cab long bed V6 too, with a 200 pound aftermarket bumper, camper shell etc..

When my 4 banger has a few hundred pounds in the back it goes over speed bumps like a Caddy. When it's empty it's a whole different story.

I hear that! I'm looking at whether I can permanently mount enough tools and crap to soften mine up.

    Sliders...

    High lift jack....

    Fire extinguisher...

Badgers, I don't need no stinking Badgers.
Also most stock springs are progressive and the eibochs are linear.

2 out of 3 of ours are actually linear.

Sport and sr5 are the same and linear.

Only the off road is progressive for us

Thought i was the only one. I have the toytec boss performance complete lift. Rides so rough its embarrasing to drive a passenger. Customer service is lacking they dont seem like they want to help or give me ideas or options. They rather just have me do measurements and say “everything looks fine.. “are shocks are race inspired” or the best one yet “ maybe you are not used to a lifted truck”. Heres my opinion stay away from them and spend the extra and get fox or kings. I paid $3k for my lift and im stuck with it untill i can afford to swap them out which may be quite a while.
