Don’t think anyone makes those anymore sense the Toyota Pickup because a tacoma, you probably will have to make it yourself

would the bumper mounts for the pickup be a closer fit then for a jeep? Just trying to figure out which one would be easiest to make work.

search for the "Back to the Future" truck... Someone did an homage to the '85 using a 3rd gen. Looks pretty bad ass... for a turd gen...

Like others said, it can be done, but you'll likely need to modify one or fab your own...

Sick! I had a feeling someone on here had this mounted on their 1st gen, the black on black is real slick. I just picked one up for $40 from an '86 pickup, the pipe wall is thinner than I expected, I got some angle irons and scrap steel laying around but still brainstorming on the connection, how did you end up welding in your brackets? And how is your skid plate attached?

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Sadly the owner of this is gone !!

Was banned for some unknown reason he never was told why.

From what I remember from looking the frame horns had weld on nuts and the 4 bolts holding the front tow hooks were used as well . Those 6 points were used to attach custom built brackets .

Then a 2" receiver hitch with gussets and some sheet metal to attach turn signal /parking light lights.

if you need more he lives a few miles away.

I appreciate the info, that should be sufficient enough for me to get an idea. I'm gonna do 2 angle irons on the sides plus 2 flat bars at the bottom attached to the 2 two stock tow hooks. Will post photos in a few weeks.

Double tube smittybuilt on a 2004, I didn't like how far out it was sitting in front of the grill so i cut off the hoop to allow the whole bumper to slide in and sit flush. Not the prettiest but definitely more durable than the fragile plastic OEM bumper, and it doesnt look too bad after the paint job

As long as you like it.

To me what a waste what you have could have been made from a piece of Tube.

    Then it was yours.

My knees still hurt just looking at your pictures.
