Amazing shots, as always! When you guys are camped out there in the open, does it get pretty windy? We had killer wind on White Rim when we were out on a ledge kind of like that.

Oh noice, what do you do for the windier nights? Tent flapping is not exactly a babbling brook noise machine haha.

swapped out my dash lights for white LEDs a couple weeks ago. Way bright! (but dimmable) and much nicer looking than the stock green incandesent bulbs.

Spent the past week leading a group of Aussie and US Slinky suspension dealers and customers around southern Utah. 700+ miles of dirt with tons of high speed rallying. Sadly not a lot of pics of that since we were all having too much fun.

We finished the trip in Moab just in time for the start of Cruise Moab. They asked me to lead Golden Spike on Saturday which was a blast, as always.

The waterfall on Gold Bar Rim is always getting harder. Me and two other 80s drove it but I ended up winching 7 other trucks up the obstacle.

Not a bad flop actually. The snorkel took the biggest hit and dented the front fender. The hilift jack hit the rock in the back and held the rest of the truck off the ground. No damage other than the front fender.

Oh that's good, a fender isn't hard to switch out. Hilift must've been on something damn strong too.

Got a question for you Adam since I know you had an older FZJ80, where does one find decent exhaust replacement parts if they own a 93-94 model, all the good stuff seems to be for 95-97.

Your best bet is to find a good shop and have custom exhaust work done. Good 3" stainless from the Y-pipe back with magnaflow cats and muffler can be done for ~$500

Looks like some really nice stuff though for sure. I'm super tempted but at the same time it's not a race car or turbod so I'm not quite sure if it needs all that flow capability. It is my daily driver and tow vehicle, I think I'll do what Adam suggested and buy two Magnaflow bullet cats and a 24" Mag muffler and ask my muffler guy to get creative with the 2.5" piping so I can move it inside the frame rails. I don't wheel it so the output being low doesn't worry me but who knows one day it might become the offroad vehicle so I'll ask him to keep it high and tight.

Your's is a bit different cat arrangement than the later style like I have but I'm using these dual Magnaflow high flow cats. By turning them they were able to get them up much higher and protected.

Beretta is such a nice guy, glad he got out pretty good. What happened other than the obvious, just a bad line and/or a little bit of inexperience?

I wouldn't say it was inexperience. He had been wheeling fine all day through lots of difficult stuff. He was tailgunning for our group of 11 trucks and I don't think he saw the line the rest of us took up the obstacle. He's a good dude for sure! Had a great time with him all week.

That's awesome and understandable, it can be tough pulling up the rear! Wish i would've made the cut, maybe next year or before then if we can get a group together!

With the VHT wheel paint that you have used have you noticed any fading or color change after some time? Now obviously you repaint them regularly from trail damage/dirt but wondering they're better at holding color than other paints I have used...

I don't notice any fading from the VHT paint. Sometimes they appear a bit faded but the wheels are usually just dirty and look great again once they're cleaned.

Good to know. I still am wanting to do mine but don't have a proper lifting mechanism at home to get the wheels off safely. I typically use the lift at work for any work on the truck but when I need wheels to dry I can't leave the truck on the lift for a few days. What home jack do you use?
