It is a tri-fold tire step. I did have to replace the nuts on it though, I found that they kept vibrating off during road trips. So I just replaced them with nylocks and now I don't have to worry about it anymore. Otherwise, I am happy with the product - it does what it is suppose to do. I mostly just use it for my trailer to get the roof top tent cover off and as a shelf for my water jug.

We have a little 13' Scamp trailer. As much as I wanted a RTT, I have a 70 lb. dog that goes everywhere with me, and that wasn't an option for him. The Scamp fits me, the GF, and the dog perfectly. It has a fridge, furnace, and sink. Plus it's light enough that I can unhook it, lift it up at at tongue and manually move it around the driveway/yard.

I load the Pelican case with all our kitchen/cooking stuff and that goes in the trailer. I put wood and the cooler full of beer and meat in the bed of the truck and we're ready to go.

It's a Pelican Hardigg Field Desk.

    http://www.pelican.com/us/en/product/mobile-military-cases/field-desk/mobile-office/472-fld-desk-ta

They are made for the military as a portable desk for those in the field, hence the name. Because they are made for the military, they are extremely expensive brand new. I want to say that version is $2,000 new.

If you really want one, keep an eye out for a local one on Ebay where you can hopefully pick-up and skip the shipping fees. I've found a couple more semi-local that went for ~$200

    NICE!

But with the overlanding craze these days, I'm surprised it's not been redone for the consumer market. I've seen some in metal but those look quite heavy (trail Kitchens).

I'll be selling my old REI Camp Kitchen which is essentially this but with an extra side. I now try to go with the KISS theory. For my camp kitchen I use a Lifetime adjustable height table. Works great, is lighter than the previous setup, and much more simple. Think it was $40 at Home Despot

A cherry pop up I picked up in the neighborhood for $300. I saw it in the guys front yard along with a new 30’ travel trailer. I knocked on the mans door and said I noticed your pop up in the yard. Bam! Talked him in to letting a neighbor steal it from him.

sold it a year later for $80085797474-C83F-4B38-BA82-7D427AEA3AC5.jpg
A dog entered our life and well, he’s a 120lb Akita and stubborn. He probably wouldn’t be the best animal to bring to a campground. Also canvas that’s Velcro attached? Yeah he’d break something.

I want to buy a 16’ trailer and travel. I got the short bed because of a life’s learning lesson . I had long bed trucks and family and friends expect you to become acme moving company and drop everything because cheap bastards don’t want to pay Uhaul $19.99 for local rental.
I’m trying to get someone to watch Kujo so we can go camping somewhere. He’s not a kennel friendly dog either.
