    Not saying they are not brighter than your last set. Fewer larger chips is a much more modern LED reverse light design that is higher output than the many smaller chips style LED light which is very dated, also generally puts out less light or equal light to stock. I was explaining why they hurt your eyes so bad and how that leads to misjudgment of the light output.

    Holy cow, I leave you guys for a couple days and look what happens! Blinding others and lubing nipples and breaking them in holes and things. Yikes! But @EastVanTaco , you can never have TOO bright of a reverse light. You want people to know your intent so that they get the eff outta the way! ;)

    At least Rob is working on doing something potentially neat! I'm definitely looking forward to that review (especially with as compared to the Hikari's). Are you going to try them in both the LBs and HBs?

    I just checked and the Ultimate dome lights are still available for anyone still looking. Just make sure you also buy a huge case of sun block! lol

    Replaced the broken light today after jb weld
    Ask the gf to make sure Reverse bulb was working. She came back in the truck say.wtf im blind lol
    Ya i was considering the ultimate dome but thought it might be a tad too bright.
    I have purchased the philips 30mm festoon led and it was too big. It measured 31 mm
    I tried filing the ends but nope it pushed the dome part into the roof pabel and i had to pull it back down. So maybe its my only option lol

    My festoon LED for the dome light was also a PTA similar to what you're describing. To get it to work, I first ended up using pliers to slightly bend out the metal tabs inside of the dome light. Even then, I had to really finess (aka wedge the dang thing) in there a few times until it was properly in place. While I was wedging it in place, I found it easier to hold the LED using pliers so that it wouldn't turn on me as I applied more pressure.

    Ohh yeah damn it I forgot that you're in Canada? What part exactly. I ship stuff to my Sales guys in Canada and I have an office in Oregon. Maybe I can pull a little magic trick and use my sources.

    Yes, I'm getting two different sets of bulbs. I will basically shoot new pictures of what is there, then do the swap, then shoot more pics. I'm also going to try find a area with a very wide surface so we can see the spread difference. It may not be until next week but I promise it is coming. :thumbsup:

    If only they would make tacoma-specific parts like brackets or what not. My caliraised brackets for my bumper LED was almost the same price as the light bar itself lol.

    So @crashnburn80 sold me some OffRoadTown LED (HERE) projector pods that I am going to replace my factory foglights with using the CaliRaised LED brackets. The cut off for these lights are incredible and the are ridiculously bright!! I will be doing a review and showing a comparison between these and the drop in LED bulbs.

    He also sent me some reverse bulbs as a little bonus and said they would be way brighter than my current LED reverse bulbs..... he was 100% correct. The multi LED round bulbs were my original shown in the passenger side in the picture below. The picture seriously does 0 justice for what these look like in person.

    I edited the post and added a link to the Pods. I am not sure what brand of light the reverse bulbs actually are lol

    You know I’m always good at linking product man

    Pretty good chance these are it or very similar https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CRGU91Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_35K9AbX3YNQCE

    @crashnburn80 what brand are they?
