I want to, but the problem is I'm not planning on buying it till the end of the summer. Strapped for cash right now... student life sucks

I'm at 12k in loans right now with 2 semesters left to go. They wont let you start paying on the loan until either you finish or drop out, the loan only covers tuition not books etc and you're not allowed to work over 10 hours a week fml. On the bright side its one of the cheapest universities in Canada

Better trucks than these, can come to those with an education ... especially in Canada's job market.

Just some friendly and very sympathetic advice.. I knew the temptation, 30 years ago. I was supposed to go back to uni, due to financial tightness i intended to only take a year off.

Not complaining .. I've got what i need in terms of roof, wheels and a career .. but no matter what you want in the present, you see better in the future.

Honestly, from my perspective, it's best to keep stock if a 'starving student'.. if you take a drive on the mod-road, at a certain point it could trigger an unintended shit-tsunami of Bills, in terms of fixing or compensating for something or other that has been changed, that you aren't happy with. Keep it stock, keep it reliable.

    FWIW.. and IMHO.

That same thing happened with mine. I just put the rubber things from the stock shocks and put it on the fat Bob's. They aren't great shocks I've had many problems I plan on getting different ones soon

I used road master helper springs for trailer drop in rear. they stopped the truck from sagging and made the truck loose the sway at turns. if you read up on them and like them I have a set used but still work great and no rust. ill sell you.

Anybody use a direct rear Air-shock on there Tacoma. So replace the rear shocks with a air adjustable shock? I know Gabriel and Monroe offer them.

Thanks I will look into them. Right now I'm considering using a direct air adjustable-shock replacement for the rear shocks instead of helper shocks.

Not sure-the ones I have seen have been used with leaf springs. They replace they existing stock shocks. The have air valves on them. So you can air them up and have more clearance.

I think for the price regular shocks would be more worth it. I've been pretty happy with my fox shocks and I know a few people who love their bilstien 5100s in the rear

Ya-I'm sure the other shocks you mentioned are better. But I'm needing ride height adjust ability "on the fly" for loads/towing. My Tacoma is lowered 2" in rear.
