Just got my ECO front grill with the QS tan back plate! Awesome quality and product! Great work

I was an early adopter and the grill is still going strong 2 years later with no issues.

 

I was in an accident and took a little damage to my grille. What type of paint do you guys recommend to cover it up with

I was totally kidding as this thread was more than a month old.
I'm just trying to revive it to finagle a group buy or maybe a 4th of July discount.

 

I sold this grill about 1 hour after taking delivery. Was very obvious that during install it would easily stress the plastic surround.

 

Yeah it seems like cold weather is the biggest factor, but I'm in SoCal, my surround will probably melt before it cracks.

 

I’ve had this grill since the 1st batch was released. No issues except it’s damn heavy and overtime the entire surround is starting to sag a little(I don’t have any bottom support because I cut the bumper). Still love it, although I changed out the letters in the front. Sorry Jerry

 

I thought the same thing. I was looking at the grill for my 18’ but no way in hell I’d disable a safety feature on my vehicle to accommodate a damn grill.

 

People do that same thing with BSM system when they want a steel rear bumper. Some people don’t care for safety systems..People still drive around with no seat belt....

 

Wondering if there are any blemished Recessed ones or has that possibility long passed?

 

It's the cost of having a bad-ass grill and/or front/rear steel bumpers

The no seat-belts thing is mind-blowing to me, but to each their own (not gonna start that shitstorm here like in that other thread)

BTW, have had my grill for a little over a year now, still worth the $$!

 

Just dropping in, I’ve had my eco grille since Jerry first started producing them, still one of my favorite aesthetic choices I’ve done to the truck. I always get compliments on it to this day.
