    I'll have to admit, never really looked that hard at the adjusters themselves. Loved the ride the way they came set and haven't bothered to adjust at all. Went wheeling one day and was coming down a hill, when driver front tire went over a small drop off I banged my sliders pretty hard (maybe was carrying a little more speed than I should have) and I thought to myself hmm..."you bought click adjusters idiot, you could probably dial them up a little more firm while on the trail and not have that happen".

    A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
    It is a nice thing to have. Next step is to have the ability to remotely adjust them with an in cab controller.

    One day I'm sure. I'm probably picking up a 1st gen in the mid to late summer and I need to start looking into outfitting that with some ADS. A lot of differences between 1st and 3rd suspensions I'm guessing.

    Small differences, same concept though.

    I had that on both sides as well, got some pretty bad scraping/gouging on mine. Only solution was to over tighten the top nut... like a lot

    ADS Coilover Front, OME Dakars with Nitro's Rear, Relentless Skids, BAMF Sliders, FN Five Star rims, 285/75r16 Falken Wildpeak, Aero Turbine 2525
    Yea front bolts right in but for the rear you have to either do a shock relocation or have to special order for the first gen. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. So I went with Dakars in the rear with Nitro's til I relocate

    Yeah, I'm kinda running into that wall. Trying to figure out what exactly to order, but am starting to think that I should just wait until the frame swap is done and I can really get some accurate measurements. I'm still thinking that the 10" ones would fit for the rear, but I could get the 8" and they said the spacer could be removed so it'd actually get 9" of travel. Not sure if that'd be the limiting factor on the suspension...

    Looking at ordering new rear shocks and considering Fox, King, ADS. Is this shock rotation a thing with all of them or just ADS or is it just a tight fit back there with a 2.5” shock body?

    I think my mistake was using OEM torque spec on the top nut. Crank those bitches down tight and you should be fine

    Coilovers are installed and are a night and day difference from the Bilstein 5100s I had. Went from the 620 lb Eibach springs to these with the 700 lb springs. The truck handles so much better with the proper spring rate. Only complaint I have is that the Allen bolt that locks the adjustment ring was positioned directly behind the reservoir hose fitting making it impossible to fit a hex key in to without some work from my angle grinder. I cut the hex key down and was able to jimmy it in. Once I was able to gain access to the Allen bolt, adjustment was fairly easy given enough spray lubricant was applied to the shock body.

    As many of you know from past experience, @HeadStrong Off-Road is a top notch company. Ordered these coilovers last week and received them on Wednesday the following week. Will definitely be ordering through them when it’s time to rework the rear end of my truck.

    Anyone got any pics of their rear resi shocks mounted?

    Here is where I mounted my brackets because it seemed like that was how the hose wanted to lay.......trying any other configuration was met with a lot of resistance because the hoses are so tough and I didn’t want to put any stress or torque on the fittings.

    Any thoughts? Where I have the hose shouldn’t be pinched by the bed or if it does some major mounts and support structure have given way even with frame flex I would think?
