    A little a this, a little a that...
Point taken. I only have it back there when I’m using it, not 24/7, and I will be blowing it out regularly.

Sorry, Late to this glamping party. Dometic CFX 50w under a bed rack with RTT. @fatfurious2 . A so far so good solution to my same dilemma was to use a backpack rain cover. Barely gets wet, water sheds right off never even close to the vents, but that being said i also have the travel cover which helps too.

Thanks! I am going to do it this way too. I am in process of planning/building my drawer setup, and then I will mount the fridge in the same place as yours.

I also put dielectric grease on the fridge side 12v port for added protection.

1x1 14g square tubing. Have not decided on the wall material yet. Also, just one drawer, and a side compartment that will house my 2nd battery, and some other components.

This is a rough sketch, so I could figure out how much metal to order

I bought a sheet of 1/2" MDO (medium density overlay) plywood for a box idea. Not to be confused with MDF. MDO is made with waterproof resin/glue. Commonly used for outdoor signs, has a nice finish too.

Shouldn't be too bad. And especially if i use aluminum as the walls. Probably less than a bedslide

The only thing I am worried about when it comes to bed fridge is humidity down here causing corrosion inside the compressor/fan/condenser area, and sunlight destabilizing the plastic and making it brittle.

Thin aluminum with a sikaflex bead and then blind pop rivets in each corner.....that would be light and waterproof. What you gonna use for drawer slides?

Roller like skateboard wheel bearings...that a good idea.. How would you make the drawer lock out to use as a workbench?

Finished my half platform/drawer. I removed the seat cushion to allow the fridge to sit lower and also wanted to retain one of the seats for quick runs from the campsite. All four bolt locations are preexisting. The entire platform was made using a sheet of 4' x 4' x 1/2" plywood.

Thank you! I have very little experience with woodworking, but with patience anything can be done.
