Well grille held up in major hail storm. Not so sure about the rest of the truck. Told her she should have went to gas station and sent me these pics.

 

Go to the hardware store with a provided (too short) screw and get something similar but a little longer
I quoted you on what was said a page back,
I did something similar, except I thought a #4 screw and 3/4" long was closer to matching the provided hardware

Point is, it doesn't really matter, get something that'll thread in there and hold firm... you have 4 on the tops/bottoms so the 4 on the sides is frankly overkill for the "TOYOTA" portion, so it should be good!

Got 4 screws as described earlier from ACE for the ends of lettering and worked perfectly.

 

Seems thus far this Group Buy did not fall under the same. I'm happy with my purchase.

No damage on any of the letters!!

 

I went down to HomeDepot and picked up some #4 just slightly longer. I also picked up lock washers with internal teeth so it would not work itself out with vibration.

 

And for those of you that are cheap like me. Advanced auto parts has vin matched spray paint. Just about to reassemble mine. Chrome be gone for 10 bucks!

 

Great find. I'll head down and grab some. I have an extra chrome piece I was going to try plastidip, but I'd rather try paint match first.

Was super easy to install. Looks good. More aggressive I think! Thanks Cali for the awesome support.

 

I used a couple pieces 120 grit sandpaper, acetone to clean, and a can of superwhite and a can of clear. I would advise two cans of paint. One did the job, but I probably should have put more on.

 

I'll echo what others have said on the screws, and the thickness of the plastic for some of the tabs to overlap and hold. But on the whole very happy with the purchase

Got mine installed with new grille lights.

 

Installed mine this morning. Easy install just have to be patient and take your time. Don't mind the love bugs on the front needs a wash bad.
