I like steep trails that most slow riders don’t know about. Fast descending tech, not into climbing tech. I will hike if needed haha, also enjoy jumps on flow trails.

I’ll basically just look for black/red trails on Trailforks after I’ve ridden the recommended ones above. Will be looking for people to shuttle with if it’s and option. I’ll most likely take my Subaru and not the truck

Katzkin leather, heated seats, Popnloc, bed lights, remote start, bhlm....

I like 18 road but I think lunch loops and the ribbon trail are the best in the area. Everyone wants fast smooth flow these days but I like steep techy chunk. Can’t remember all the lunch loop names but holy cross was super fun. Trailforks should help you put a nice ride together in the lunch loops area.

Holy Cross, Raven Ridge, Moto, Free Lunch. Hell even the fireroad down can give you a challenge in Lunch Loops.

You MUST ride the ribbon, but take a local or watch the singletrack sampler on it. It has a few places that'll severely hurt you if you mess it up (the toilet bowl for example). It put me in the hospital. ER said they see at least 1 a week off of there.

Gotta hit zippity do dah in 18 road. Way too fun, even if you dont like flow. PBR is a good flowy warmup. Challenge yourself to no pedalling after the first little uphil. My record is 6 cranks.

Prepping for Sundance round 2 tomorrow. #make26greatagain!

It was total hero dirt today. The crowd showed up around lunch time so I bailed, but tomorrow should be a ghost town. #UtahCounty

Not 3rd Gen but a Taco nonetheless. It's my 01 with an 18 Mondraker Foxy. It's not mine, I was just testing it out. It rode well, climbs well, downhills are different than my Evils though... You have to dhownhill the Foxy with more weight on the front other wise, it won't want to turn easily. Once you feel the point at where it wants you to be centered, it carves nicely.

If you're out by MRT and have enough left in the tank try and get over to King Castle/Castle Rock. One of my favorites over there in the valley

    ...stuff
That’s insane. There are a lot of mountain lions around here, but they usually only attack people when they are severely threatened.

holy shit. I ride Tokul, cherry valley and tiger after dark and sometimes solo all the time.

    https://www.king5.com/mobile/articl...n-cougar-attack-near-north-bend/281-555709031

I was riding with a buddy once who swore what we were hearing was a cougar’s growl. I was like, bah. Sounded like a single cylinder motorbike from a distance. He sent me a YouTube of the same sound, supposed to be a cougar. Sounded just like what we heard. They’re out there. I’ll still ride at night and solo. Been doing it for too long to stop now. Like surfing... they’re out there.

Over the edge. Awesome shop, great people, will really help you find the kind of rides you’re looking for.
Can’t believe I forgot ribbon, yeah, that’s a must too.
We go down there a few times a year. I always hit 18 rd, because it’s fun. Then we head to koko for the wifey, then I head to ribbon. I personally don’t dig lunch loops, the climbs are bullshit.
You can shuttle a bunch of stuff, just check out trailsforks or mtb app, look for drop ins. 18 rd doesn’t really need shuttles since they are short ass road climbs, but you can.
Ive found best ride times are 7-11, but the earlier the better. Most places get hot as fuh after that.
And if it rains, 18 rd is a no go most of the time, it turns way too slick. But ribbon should be good.

    Hardcore! You ride gripless!

Love for the Devinci, I ride the 18 Troy, sold my Spartan last year. I almost picked up a 17 Wilson last year, but I got a crazy deal on a 17 Glory advanced 0, I couldn’t pass on it.

    Long live chainsaw.

Wow, don’t know how you ride in the dark. I find Cherry Valley challenging during the day. I started riding last fall so still have a lot of learning to do. Cougars are in all our forests so this is super rare. Hope it stays that way.

I love my Bronson, buy a Devinci enduro bike is on the shortlist for my next tech refresh. The new black and copper scheme is the hotness in my eyes. An Evil or a Transition rounds out the list and maybe an HTLT.

But for a light DH /park bike, this 26" 41lb tank is amazing.
