Might be interested in that 42”. Want to get a roof rack and mount one up there. Don’t like the light bars mounted without a rack of some sort.

I thought about this or something like @Kemosabe has with his behind his grill. I wouldn’t mind having a mesh grill honestly.

I like my old mesh grille that was on stewie. It looked good and was inexpensive!

Where did you get it from? I might roll that direction. I like the round lights better and behind the grill gives it the stealth look.

Yea, I have the OEM roof rack and I found brackets that attaches with rivets.

Omotor 05-15 Toyota Tacoma Steel Metal Upper Roof Windshield Mounting Brackets for 42 Inch Curved Led Work Light Bar SUV Offroad Lighting https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LPR5VQO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_2kyaBbDWD36PK

Seems like a inexpensive option. Then I'm gonna run the wire under the trim down to the engine bay.

I think it only bothers me because I see so many kids around me driving a late-80s/early-90s model toyota, rusted out, hardly any paint left with like Fuel, Moto metal, or those ugly dick cepek wheels with almost bald Nitto mud grapplers and like two light bars on the roof.

If I knew they’d listen I’d tell them to save that $1500 they just spent on wheels and get a paint job and the truck would look so much better.

You didn’t know it’s illegal to transport firewood state to state? Def not to Canada. On the return to the US after a Canada trip we were denied access just because of the mud on our trucks. We had to drive back over the boarder to wash our trucks to get back into the states..

I carry wood to connecting states of jersey. Anything further I buy locally. That’s my personal rule of thumb. Most of the time out of state I’ve seen trailers with split wood and an honor box, I’ll throw a $20 in for the amount is worth.. The small town locals I’m sure appreciate it.

Haha oh no, the po po is gonna get us. But we pretty much follow the same rule as Chux if you think about it. The farthest we’ve taken wood was maybe 2.5 hours to AOAA. The rest is only like 1.5 hours away to green ridge or sleepy creek.

Yea, I'm with you all the way. Living up here in the country I see all kinds of half assed rides. They all like to hang out at the wawa or royal farms. They even have their lawn chairs in the beds of the trucks. Some of them are all muddied up and I swear it looks like they must be throwing it at the truck. LOL

Originally I did have some interest in the bumper light bar and had intended on adding Lamix amber film to use it as a fog light. This mod was way low on my list though.

Then another member reached out to me based on some reviews I did for headlight and fog light assembly bulb conversions. Basically, I replaced the OEM halogen bulbs with moderately priced LEDs. Did some detailed reviews and they helped a lot of other members. He asked if I would be interested in doing some reviews for Auxbeam. I was like Duh, yeah.

So now I'm just waiting on hearing back from them. If it happens great, if not, so be it. I'm not buying brackets or switches or anything else unless I hear from them, so no skin off my teeth.

I wish OME or Bilstein would ask me to test out a lift kit. LOL

Holy shit Betty white is gonna look good soon.

So since day 1, her paint has been rough and dull. There was one time I washed and threw a coat of wax on the hood, but it didn’t do anything. I just assumed her paint was too far gone so I didn’t bother doing any correction. Boy was I wrong.

With all this recent rain, we also had a lot of leaves fall. From sitting for a few days, they had bled out onto her and looked terrible. I removed my prinsu crossbars and pressure washed it and used soap and mitt with minimal improvement.

I then tried a clay bar with no improvement. So then I went balls deep and used a polisher with cutting compound, polish and wax on varying aggressiveness of pads. Holy fuck I didn’t know she was capable of being shiny.

For now I just did the lower left corner of the roof, but you can see the difference. Over the next two days I’m going to do a panel at a time and completely detail her, back to nice and shiny.

Keep in mind this dirt was AFTER I pressure washed and clay bar’d the roof.
