Man that does look good. I will say another member just did bds with coil over and 35s on his pro. It is nice. I may do same thing I'm still debating which way I'll go. I do not offroad except for winter snow and back roads and dishing holed in back areas.

I dont think I need the better shocks I'm gonna be 95% on the road. The worst this kit will ever face is probably a few curbs or two in parking lots :turtleride:

6” BDS lifted Access Cab at the local dealer.

This is the Stage 1 BDS lift which does use a 6” spacer ontop of the factory coilover assembly to bridge the gap the drop bracket and the new longer knuckle provide. 18x9” wheels and a true 35/12.5/18 Toyo OC AT2.

As an owner of a truck that went from BDS Stage 1 to Stage 2, I can say that the ride is great but likely not 100% necessary if you’re not constantly bombing on it. The Stage 1 kit is identical to the Stage 2 aside from the coilovers.
And for everyone here that likes to put forth their opinions on a drop bracket lift, that hasn’t owned a truck on a drop bracket, y’all really should be a touch more open minded. You guys aren’t giving knowledgeable and experiential based facts and opinions.

Half the guys who say “get a 3” and Kings or destroy your truck,” don’t have a 3” lift or Kings. So.. get used to it.

I never seen this comment. How do you like it? People keep bashing on it but I really wanna go with it. Im sure if the install goes right it should hold up as long as the truck as I'm not jumping cliffs with it

I think if you really want to go with it, then why does it matter what others think. I thought originally you were asking for what some great 6” lifts are and what people would recommend. At the end of the day, do whatever you want because that’s all that matters. I mean hell, I went with a temporary spacer lift for the time being until I save up for what I really want which is my BDS System. People bash the, all the time but it has been nothing but great for me on road and off road. I didn’t care what others thought. It is your truck.

I guess what I'm looking for is somones horror story about rough country. I'm ebay they've sold 42 6 inch rc lifts. Saw someone on YouTube that had the 6 inch rc and said they traded in the truck after. Waiting to hear back from that guy also

I just dont see why the other kits are so much better when really they only come with bigger coilover style shocks. Ride quality wouldnt be much of an issue if its close to stock. I' more worried about the truck pulling to one side or the other, tires wearing out unevenly, rust, just nightmare type of problems not looking for a superior lift than everyone else.

If I wanted the best of the best I would have gotten the sr5 super trd ect ect but I didn' need the pin striping, leather seats, fancy wheels and cruise control and saved the 15k

That's on their parts, they are in no way responsible for your truck, and with a 6 inch lift Toyota wont be either, you will be on you own.

I still haven' found any proof why it would be a bad choice

Its not that its a bad choice, its just that it most likely voids any warranty from Toyota if you ever have a problem with it.

    285/75/17. 2,7 4cyl 6” Front 4” Rear

At 6” In the front NO cutting or modifying anything is needed

My opinions defiantly need a regear I will be doing in the next 2 weeks you can drive with ECT ON it help ALOT.

If you don’t do a lot of highway driving I wouldn’t regear at all.

Been lifted for 5k miles I love the v4 so much for realiability than the v6
