After setting up my cheap walmart instant tent for the first time, I'm pretty happy with it. The 30 second set up time is fairly accurate. Everything is attached to the frame so you just unfold it, extend the arms and you're done. Not too bad for $30

That is just for the ben and jerrys tour right? So it seems like so far it will be like 5$ for camping, 16$ for ben and jerrys and however much we spend in gas for these thirsty motors?

I was looking at fire extinguishers at Walmart today. I saw these for $12 and thought they were neat. Didn’t buy one because I wanted some input first. Would this be safe to leave in the truck all the time? Any other options or recommendations.

Why not get a real one from walmart or lowes and always keep it onboard?

Nick, I agree with Adam. Go for something that you know won't fail. That being said, have a back up too.
I have two of the marine/auto extinguishers in the truck.

Good info in here from some knowledgeable folks.

I know someone who used to have 2 of these. They are tiny. Just remember that when buying. You dont need to spend much just look at the post below \/\/\/
Agreed. I actually have the white one on the right. They sell them at Walmart for about $22

No Ben and Jerry's is $4 per person, kids 12 and under are free. The $16 is actually for one of the waterfalls but I think I may be changing it anyways. Everything being looked into, tweaked and finalized this week so everyone has time to prepare

 If you go with something in the cab, be sure to have it strapped down pretty good. That thing would be deadly flying around the cab in the event of an accident.
    Sorry.....just being overprotective I suppose.

no no I appreciate the feedback. It will have to be small and mounted behind my seat somewhere, not really any choice with the reg cab. I am very limited on space in there.

I keep a full 5 pounder with a hose behind my seat.... remember you want a hose incase you have a wheel well or undercarriage fire because you can’t tip an extinguisher more the 45deg and have it still work properly.
