I was thinking of getting a light bar, but am concerned about it being stolen, drilling into my truck and aerodynamics and stuff. does anyone make a great set of aftermarket headlights for 2nd gen tacos (2014) that would give me the same advantage in a more secure package?

i'm surprised there's so little discussion about the anzos or spyders. if anyone has a good set of aftermarket lights, let me know.
    - how bright are they compared to stock?
    - when driving at night, are people in front of you going to hate you?
    - did you have that "fogging" problem?

    thanks guys.

Plenty talk about spyders.... they are shit

Oem lights plus a lightbar allow the bar to be shut off around traffic
Ultrabright scattered light in headlights means blinding traffic the entire time the lights are on.
Think about that for a minute.

Yeah I was looking for something the same brightness as OEM, except way brighter when the "brights" are on.

Way brighter all the time, without blinding anyone because the light cut off is maintained. If you wanted stock brightness low beam and just a massively brighter high beam you could use a 100/55w bulb instead of the 100/90w suggested, compared to the standard 60/55w bulb.

Most aftermarket headlights are poor quality, with poor beam pattern and are less bright than stock. They also typically end up leaking. Spyder is well known for all of this.
