You can get lift kits or buy parts separately. Some companies like toytec, icon, Fox, and king are pricier.

He can do a bilstein lift at 3 inches too. Lots of options out there, just not budget friendly with the op.

It's not that... they are excited and want to mod their truck thst best suit their current money situation and usually unwilling to save. The got to have it now factor. There really isn't anything wrong with these type of lifts. Just should be labeled "meant for street use only".

I just assume people who have brand new Tacoma’s have a lot of money and wouldn’t need to save, but I guess anyone can do monthly payments

Most have a 500 to 750 dollar payment per month. Then insurances, rent/mortgage, kids, spouse..... etc. Everyone has to save regardless the vehicle you drive. Where I live everyone pretty much drives a leased vehicle. Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Ferrari, lambos..... all fucking leased.

You are asking a pretty common question. Everyone here is a critic. If you put spacers on your truck you'll get chastised. I wouldn't let anyone's opinion get to you. I put a ReadyLift 3/2 leveling kit on mine. Replaced the rear shocks because while the stock bilsteins might have worked, I didn't want to over extend them and risk it. Struts were good to go though. I'm doing an actual budget project, not just saying it's a budget and spending $2000 gonna lift that will void my extended warranty. I will post a picture tomorrow when it's light out and you can see if it's what you are going for

exactly it. Guess it’s easier to do research while you save so you are at least educated on it. Lol

Sorry I don't have any better before/after photos but here you go. Stock 265's on 16" wheels. Going with the falken wildpeak at3's at 285. Will need at least 1/2" wheel spacer to clear the UCA's.

I definitely can understand the budget moves. I pay $650 plus insurance, have a warranty that is void (even if Toyota installs) should cutting or welding need to take place with a full suspension lift. 20180521_172759.jpg 20180521_172835.jpg 20161211_064943.jpg

If you get the LTS they are pretty aggressive, but you can get the mts I heard there not to bad. But I like mine there just perfect. I've had ko2s and they were the same I actually like these better with snow and everything. For sure the price!

I actually saw some of the M/T's today on a non-lifted FJ and they looked pretty good.

Honestly, I paid more the truck than I wanted. Original plan was to buy a tan SR5 and build it but couldn't find a manual anywhere. Found this beut and couldn't give it up. Paid more for the truck but got more for my trade in so it evened out. I've also got a 1929 model a rat rod I'm sinking money into but I budget hardcore.
