Liking it so far. Haven’t had a chance to really use it tho. I considered a full leaf pack, but don’t have that much extra weight in the back.

Recently put OME med in and some 265s.
I’ve had past rigs with OME so this was an easy choice.
I would have liked to do 285s, my previous FJC rode really nice on a 33.
Can’t be bothered with different wheels and such to avoid the rub.
This is mainly a DD while I’m stuck in NJ for the next few years. So 265 is plenty.5CF3AF33-E879-47D4-AF8E-A3E3A236F688.jpg

Thanks. I went with one of the complete kits from Headstrong. Marie is awesome by the way. Bilstein 5100s, OME 888 coils, light racing UCAs, and a single AAL in the rear.

Looking for some advice for my 2017 Tacoma TRD Off Road. I want a more aggressive look and the option for bigger tires. I don't need any crazy performance suspension stuff. I just want a solid lift that will give me a good look and also good quality. I found these strut spaces is anyone knowledgeable with these or another option that would be better? Open to all ideas. That’s what I’m want to do but probably 887s.
Do you think you’ll need new bump stops or longer rear break lines?

I don't do anything crazy off-road so I won't be getting new bump stops and I still have a little slack in the original lines so I'm good there too.

Just installed the 17" TRD Pro Rims on 265/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grappler and love this set up. No lift, no rubbing. IMG_0019.jpg

Got mine back in late April, 2018 DCLB OR. Added a canopy last week then left the next day for a 6 day road trip up thru central ID into Montana. I also added a few things to the interior (OCD console and glovebox dividers, LED interior lights, and Weathertech floor mats) but still have the stock wheels, tires, and suspension for now. Waiting on my Wet Okole seat covers.

Since I was on mountain highways my average speed was in the 50-70 mph range and that resulted in 22-23 mpg. Very happy with that. I was curious if the canopy would drop my mpg, but I don’t think it affected it or if anything may have helped. I slept in the back 2 nights out of the 6 and life was good.

I had a Gen 2 2008 DCLB prior to this truck, and slowly converting the 2018 to match what I had on my ‘08. Next up is a modest lift and 32” tires.
