Anyone ridden the Gypsum area? Spring Creek/Hardscrabble specifically? Looking at taking my daughter over there this saturday to check it out, just looking for some general feedback as to what type of trails, terrain, difficulty, etc...

Gonna go google it now, just thought someone might have some first hand experience.

Where do you all ride with kids? Thinking about picking up a couple of bikes this summer, and wondering where I could take my 8 yr old to learn.

When mine started out I took them to Divide OHV, there are a lot of little places they can ride without traffic.

I'm close to getting a couple of bikes. I've ridden until I moved out here, oh 20 years ago. My sticking point is I'd have to ditch my Cougar in order to pick up new toys. Decisions, decisions.

Finally got my bike all fixed up and running. Took it out to Rampart today. After not having ridden in close to 10 years, it was nice to feel it come back to me. I forgot how fun bikes are lol

'Rode' a short section of the Grizzly-Helena trail today. The big creeks are still too high to cross, so that limits where you can ride. Ending up clearing over 60 trees from the couple mile section we rode.

If you ever want to ride the whole trail @kashtyaatsi let me know.

We went and rode uncompahgre this weekend and the downed trees were ridiculous. Need to seriously look into getting a chainsaw mount. Also a buddy and I were wanting to come up soon and ride it again and maybe hit the sand dunes too.

I don't go anywhere around here in the spring without the chainsaw. You wouldn't get anywhere.

Mine's made by a local guy and attaches to the fork where the headlight goes. You feel it, but it's not too bad. Not sure about the ones behind the seat.

You need to wait at least a month to ride the whole trail. There's multiple creeks that can't safely be crossed until more snow melts.
