Is there any place that you can purchase bulk ammo?

Specifically looking for 9mm. Any case over 250 rounds.

I used to use gunbot but is it still legal to ship to home locations?

"As of the 18th of December all ammunition orders must be shipped to a California DOJ approved FFL." what an inconvenience...

Does that mean you can't order it online? Or it just has to go through an ffl instead of getting shipped to your door?

I use https://ammoseek.com/ it's a great site to find the cheapest especially buying bulk.

I can get it shipped to an FFL but I wish I would just be able to get it shipped to my door. From what I read the FFL charges a transfer fee ranging from $10/20+ and depending on how much ammunition I buy it just seems more convenient to stop by my local Big 5 and just clear out their cheaper 9mm ammo (plus I don't have to wait for shipping).

I believe it just means it can't be delivered directly to your door. The price thus increases due to this third party FFL dealer getting involved. There was a local company up here that had amazing prices on ammo, but they've since closed their business. Apparently it doesn't make sense financially for them to become a FFL dealer...

Bummer. Sorry y'all have to deal with that.

I'm sure there are a ton of headaches involved and hoops to jump through.

Some places you can't even ship ammo to (i.e. San Francisco, Oakland, etc. etc.)

I wonder if they look at your home address and conclude from there or would someone be able to ship to an FFL outside of those cities and just drive to pick those up?

There is a gun show at the cow palace coming up here in June. I have bought ammo there for great prices in bulk. Much cheaper than big 5.

Theres a spot in walnut creek I go to. They dont always have it but when they do its a good price. Its called Primo Tactical. They have weird hours and its hard to find the first time. I always just call and ask what they have.

No company can ship anything to a California address unless it’s an FFL. I spent the year buying in bulk online and stocking up before the ban.

If you got the space, reloading is the way to go now.
