I had the powerstop kit off of Amazon actually. They worked well and a really good price

Thanks, my wife wasn’t a huge fan of them being open, so to appease her and to try my hand at an early welding project I decided to do them up. Def like how they turned out though.

On the topic of brakes, I did the EBC stage 5 with yellow stuff a few years back. I just had to get new pads this week to swap out. With the 35s, the stopping power is a noticeable upgrade for sure.

Didn't WA pass some law, that if the vehicle came from the factory with doors, got gotta have them on? I could swear my buddy got pinched by the pine swine up here for that few years ago.

From what I remember, the law is mainly directed at off reading. Anyone else hear/ remember that?

Then every jeep without doors/running tube doors is being illegal too.
I have doors, they are just made from tube and not sheet metal lol

No, I'm with ya. Thought it was a lame way to increase revenue, and really just targeted a select group.

*EDIT* And I think tube doors are fine, it's the no doors they have issue with. Hopefully someone that knows more about it will chime in

You may be right but I’m a firm believer that as long as you aren’t driver irratically/speeding excessively then cops are more lenient

The chapter the rule is in actually does not apply to off-road vehicles used off-road.

Since it only really mentions the door latches and how the operate, as long as the door can be opened from the inside and outside (that part is covered in another RCW) it would be "equal" to original.

Really if you want to have fun just start reading through the RCW's and then take a look on the freeway/hiways/roads at how many "illegal" vehicles are out there lol

I dont have a sway bar, and i think that is technically illegal. Pretty sure my front and rear bumper stick out further than stock too. no mud flaps, im basically a felon.

Well within 45 minutes of driving after tightening the ballistic joints they are already loose. Ballistics only answer to this is they need to be rebuilt... so going to order Ruff Stuff heims this weekend once their sale starts

That’s what most reviews have said that I’ve read on them. Most people also said they didn’t have many miles on them also.

Yup. Pay $70 a joint for them to not last long. They are sending me a complete rebuild kit for all 6 but no way I’m putting in that time.

I've done a mod or two
I was talking with the internet marketing guy from RuffStuff when he came to the Scottsdale off-road expo and he said order their heims when they're in stock because they don't stay around long and it takes a while for them to get here on the slow boat from China, it's one of the things they run out of most.

Dude was super chill, we we're both nerding out about 80s and Tacomas because we had the same year tacos and 80 haha. I just asked him about supply because I wanted to know if they had a huge stock or if it was more made to order. Turns out it's a huge stock of most things but stuff they have to order like heims is less so.
