    After using it for a little bit now I think it's definitely helped. It's nice not having to cycle it every time and picking up my snap caps haha. I feel like my groupings have become a lot tighter. I got this mainly to help me prepare for a shooting qualification, ended up scoring really high

    One thing I've been trying in bed is finding things in the room, bringing the gun up and acquiring the sights, two quick shots

    I think they changed it in the middle of the gen 3’s. I had a gen 3 19 and 17. The newer 19 has the finish your gen 4 has, and the older 17 has the smoother, shinier finish which seems more durable.

    Haha haven’t shot it yet. I have a Vortex Razor red dot on my G17 and love it. With the mil discount you can’t beat the price.

    I asked this question in the Firearms BS thread but I'm still researching so I'll ask here too.

    I have a G19 Gen 4. I'm looking for a slide that is MOS-friendly but doesn't cost as much as a whole new pistol. There are lots of Gen 3 slides out there but I'm having trouble find one for a Gen 4. Most of the Gen 4 with the MOS milling all have fancy and decorative machining. I don't need that; I want just a plain vanilla slide that will accept and MOS sight.

    I've tried Brownell, GunTrader, and Midway. Any other ideas?

    Got an O-Light PL Mini Valkyrie in desert tan through their flash sale. I like it for a light on my house gun, cheap and bright enough to illuminate w/out blinding me with reflection.
