    I have a 2017 Tacoma trd4x4.
I was out ran by a work truck F-150. With a v6 naturally aspirated.... It hurt my feels....
-now, I know my truck is not designed for racing. But I can't have that. Ever since the morning on the way to work, I've been looking in to turbo's. From all the research I've done. With the newer motor 3.5D4S. A supercharger doesn't exist.... I wish I would have gotten the 4.0 and a supercharger....
To late now!!! Any idea of how to turbo where to start? I'm really interested. I've seen where a camery was turbo.... Same motor??? Idk any input where to start?

Pull out your wallet and throw lots of money at Magnuson or URD, eventually something might happen. Or trade it in for something with more power.

Custom build some turbo manifolds, twin turbo it... What about the ECU.... Programing??? How much boost??? What can the motor handle? Will the motor handle it...

There's already massive "turbo" lag below 3.2k rpm :der:

Run smaller turbos... And ball bear turbos. Fast spool rate. No lag.... I'm not looking for 500+ HP. Just not slower than a beat up work truck... Lol! Lag can be controlled. Kinda want a set up like a eco boost. Just in a Tacoma

I have a Magna Flow muffler and a TRD intake. The truck really flows and moves. I got the magna flow muffler first...it made a dramatic difference. I added the TRD intake several weeks. I want to dyno the truck sometime soon.

I smoked a 2004 V-6 Mustang a few weeks ago merging onto the freeway...more than 1 & 1/2 car links....I looked down and was doing 112 mph and still climbing strong. The mustang couldn't catch up.
A guy in a V-8 Silverado messed with me some time ago. I didn't take him but I was on his but and he couldn't shake me off. It was a blast!!! I love my Tacoma! I'ld still be up for a super charger or a turbo kit!!!

Back in 1978 my dad had an F100 4x2 pickup with a 390 high performance with a 150 gallon diesel fuel tank and farm tools in the bed. A guy in a new 350 Z28 Camaro cut us off. Pissed off my fad. That old beat up loaded down Ford pick up blew that Camaro off the road!! Memories!

The new Lexus (forget which model) is twin turbo with the same 3.5 motor as our trucks. Once they are out in the market, and a few wrecked ones pop up, the parts might be interchangeable to ours... but that's a wild guess

    A few....
It's the Lexus LS... has the same 3.5 V-6 (I'm sure it's tuned differently than the our truck engines) with twin-turbos it's rated at 416 HP!

Not the same motors. Just because it's a 3.5L in the 2GR family doesn't mean they're the same. The turd gens have a 2GR-FKS which is vastly different than the V35A in your 416HP Lexus LS.
The HKS supercharger kit won't work either.

Wait it out, as OVTune is working on ECU tuning for your motor. I'm sure URD, LCE, and other companies will start emerging with FI kits.
