Yep, it does. I have a fumoto and an IFS skid that I'm regularly banging off rocks. Hasn't been a problem yet. This does give me a good idea though, to carry my drain plug and a 5 quart jug of oil in the truck in case of emergency.

I like to carry some oil and coolant all the time. Did in my old beater pontiac too, mainly because who knew when that thing would blow again.

Greased my zerks with Red n Tacky #2. Still trying to hunt down an unknown noise. No one has figured it out but somethings not right. My mechanic friend laughed and told me to listen to music so I don’t hear it. I’m just used to no music and feeling my vehicle through the steering wheel, peddles listening for noise and strain. All I know is it got worse after I changed the wheel bearings and it’s on the passenger side grr.

I did it in the same spot, but cut a hole in the back of the change holder and fed the wire through that.

    Perfect spot:thumbsup:

    HS 2" Lift Kit
Picked up my lift kit from UPS today. @HeadStrong Off-Road delivered a great kit. This was the first time I have done any suspension work on a vehicle. The plan was for a friend to help me this weekend but I was so impatient I went ahead and started it today. I got the front and rear shocks in. Definitely a good choice by me to have them assemble the struts. I'm a bolt-on kind of guy. The rears were a PITA. The top nut you have to hold on the OEM shock is awful. I had to tear one of the rubber washers out from underneath the nut so I could fit a vice grip on the threads. Ran out of daylight so I couldn't install the 3 AAL. Maybe tomorrow or Saturday I'll finish but I definitely have the bro-lean. I took measurements of before an will take them once I'm done. And definitely going to need an alignment. Had to drop the LCAs to get the struts in.

It was an easy install.... I love it. Had Mopar installed struts on my Dodge; now I want them on every vehicle.

I started hearing a new noise a couple weeks ago. The closest thing I could think of to describe the sound was like a lose heat shield. I had a recall notice and took it in to Toyota. They said I had bad wheel bearings. The noise was not the wheel bearings but at 130xxx miles of wheeling I replaced them. I did the drivers side and ran out of time. I had a local guy do the passenger side but then when I picked up my truck the brakes didn’t work I had to pump them now there’s a “click click click” sound that’s new. The mechanic hasn’t returned my call or texts :( so I will have to take it apart see if he messed something up, bleed my brakes and see if the clicking goes away. I greased the zerks, checked the cv’s, all heat shields are fine, nothings loose underneath. Fan clutch seems fine, pulleys are fine. I do have bad bushings on the LCA’s but that would not explain the noise and I need an alignment but it’s not that bad so I’m lost.
