Bought my new to me 13 Prerunner with around 51K. She had stock dunlops and still had good tread but looked a little weathered. Went to Discount Tire and they tried talking me into a higher performing tire. I asked why? "Because there are better tires..." I said OK and replaced the dunlops with the same set of dunlops and expect to get 51K miles out of these too. They were shocked!

I know right?! I only have to be in the office for 2 days a week. 200 total miles driven. I bet I encounter it 5 times each direction, each trip. Then you got the transit buses........

5 days a week at 100 miles per day for me. Worst one was the other day - Popo on his laptop in the left lane going 55-65 and wouldn't let me pass. As soon as I get into the city streets, I "try" to avoid the dam metro/city buses like the plague.

    Safe travels!

92 miles a day for me, though I sold the Dunlops and switched to Cooper Discoverer ATs. Had an 18 wheeler full of chicken guts slosh out a good 50' stretch of slippery guts all over the right lane. The high is 85 degrees today, so that should be pretty ripe when I'm headed home.

I seriously looked at the Coopers and almost went that route. I did have them on my 05 Frontier 4x4.... Yikes on the guts! Was in Savannah a few years back. Love the state, the grits and some damn fine specimens of the female gender! Unfortunately I was married at the time and could only look. :D

I had two sets on the two Tacomas I had, couldnt get them balanced to save my life, even with road force balancing. Changing this set with Bridgestone Duelers Alenza HL when i get a chance. It should be better than this crap

One can never have too many light bars.
Update on my wonderful grand treks. About to turn over 60K by the end of the month and i still have my stock grand treks on. They're still above the wear indicator too. Will probably swap them out before next winter. FYI I have been rotating the spare so it added a considerable amount of life.

I saw some Dunlops on a 4Runner at Target yesterday. I stopped and took a wistful glance back as though we were former lovers in a past life.

How many miles you get out of them? Have 30k on mine, going to hold on to them for awhile longer but do look forward to getting new ones in the future.

I just rolled past 60k kms (just over 37k mi). Still some tread left but I just hate them when it rains or in any slippery condition.

Man reading all this hate is making me feel sick. My alignment has been out of whack for a bit and I finally had time to get it squared away. Took the truck in for an oil change and alignment and my stock tires were toast. Had 45k on those so I just went ahead and replaced all 4. SA gave me a "deal" on the grandtreks so I pulled the trigger. Road trip coming up so I was rash in my decision making. Hope they don't suck too bad!
