I forget which one is which, but I don't think it really matters. I think they just have 1/4 and 2/3 markings on them.

I changed my coils out and cured my problem. Wet weather was when my problem first showed up. We had 4 days in a row without rain and the problem disappeared. As soon as it rained again the problem was back but even worse, it wouldn't stay running at all. Changed out coils and now seems to have even more power then it has had in a long time.

At this point I am Going to Start with replacing Both Coils. Going to do Fuel Filter. Then Check Fuel Pressure Regulator. Also have TPS waiting to install if needed. One of these should do the Trick I hope. I really appreciate all the Input from This community. Opened my eyes to possibilities I did Not consider. Thanks to everyone. I will figure this out.

New Coils are in. Got caught up in some traffic yesterday and started running like crap. Put these in first thing this morning. Will report back after some bunper to bumper driving fun. It is running better already, and is more responsive

Another cheap try for you that you haven't mentioned is grounds,,, clean eveyone of them well, body grounds, engine to chasis ground. They can cause all kinds of headaches.

I have really Tried like Hell to figure this Out. I was planning on Fuel Filter. I will have my Fuel Pressure Tested as well. I have a TPS may just install it anyway. Its just so Crazy this thing Runs Fine all day. Get in Traffic and I’m Screwed all the way Home then Rev it in the Driveway and it Sputters like Crazy usually around 1800-2200 RPM’s. I am Loosing Hope. Not Sure where else to look.

    Done so Far:
Ran Multiple Fuel System Cleaners in Tank
    OEM Fuel Pump
    OEM Ignition Coils
    OEM Wires
    OEM Spark Plugs (Properly Gapped)
    Cleaned MAF Sensor
    New Air Filter
Clamped lines from Airbox to Cannister
    Checked all Hoses

I am Sure I am Fogetting Something.

I think it would be useful for you to make yourself one of those banjo bolt fuel pressure test ports and drive around with the gauge on your dash to see if anything is actually going on.

Also for a moment, let's think about the conditions of stop and go traffic which seems to be the only time your symptoms show themselves. somehow these certain circumstances are producing your issue.

-quick little gas pedal pushes, quick revs.
-high heat, no air flow through radiator.
    -exhaust gasses from other cars

It seems to be heat-related. What about the coolant temp sensor?

So, I actually ran in to something similar the other week.

I noticed that through the RPMs during acceleration it would hesitate between the RPM range. It would pull hard then notice the pull got lighter then back to pulling hard. (the only way I can really describe it) It's like I had 150Hp then through the rpm range dropped to 100 then back to 150.

I swapped out my Fuel Pressure Regulator and it all went away.

    Just a thought.

Interested if you went OEM or aftermarket for the FPR.

My next plan of attack was Fuel Pressure check. Just today caught in 1 lane constuction traffic for 2 minutes and it set it off. I was only 2 miles from my house luckily. But Shut it off for a Half hour and problem is gone. I am still going to replace my Fuel Filter.
