How hard is that to hookup? Would be nice to monitor transmission temp.

Thinking about adding a cooler too, I haven’t done any towing on my current A340F though. I towed my Civic home when it still had the A340E.

    not hard at all.
i tore most of it apart today and redid it so i could mount my fan, i might be able to dig through the old owners build and find the temp sensor he found/installed.

    cooler is easy.
    adding a fan as easy.

on the t4r, something in the radiator fails and that allows the anti freeze to mix with the atf and fucks transmissions. so we avoid the radiator completely and use a trans cooler in its place. i noticed when i go slow, especially on inclines my temps sky rocketed. like it wasn't uncommon for me to be in the 220 range, and i hit 260 more than once last summer. i have a feeling this fluid was part of the reason, but the fan is going to relieve a lot of worry when i'm off grid :)

Yeah, it's been that way since my last truck. Works well really. But I'll be having the exhaust rebuilt next moth to eliminate that and pop it over the frame there.

If you have a pair of good welding gloves you can handle smaller ones. You feel pressure but there teeth won't cut into you.

She never sits in the back seat, so she won't notice. ;)

Pressed the hub out no problem, but snap ring was stuck so I tapped it with a hammer and the lip broke off. Lame. Dremel cut 1/3 to weaken, then pryed out. Off to Toyota for another. 20180526_111930.jpg 20180526_114131.jpg 20180526_114152.jpg

    Check out my build
Not just today but over the past week I replaced the UCAs with Light Racing. New oem lower balljoints, Whiteline lower control arm bushings and new oem cam bolts and hardware. New left side front wheel bearing and seals.

Hardest part was getting the damn lower control arm hardware out. Holy seized and shitty, Batman.

All back together just now and ready for an alignment.

I did everything except press the new bearing in/out. My press wasn’t large enough to hold the hub so I took it to a shop. 1 hr labour is all they charged so no big deal.
