I'm replacing the OEM suspension on my 2012 TRDOF. I don't think there is much, if any, life left in the parts with 117,000 miles on them.

What do you guys do with used suspension parts...is there a responsible way to get rid of them? I don't want to throw them a landfill.

Keep them in case of coilovers needing rebuilding. If not. Take to scrap yard, leafs are heavy.

If you know any welders or blacksmiths they are always seeking high grade steel.

Where I live there are junk/scrap metal collectors ( scavengers) in old trucks that troll threw the alleys almost every day, if you leave your stuff sitting out next to the recycle bin it will disappear, they took a discarded ATV, office desk, almost any thing that is not nailed down. keeps from having to call the city and paying a fee and wait for the once a month pick up.

Go on craigslist and look up metal scrapers. They will come to you and pick up everything for free. Tons of people in my area that do that.

HAHA even before i saw where you lived i knew it was north Texas somewhere. We have those guys all over Ft Worth. They mainly prowl on sunday evenings and if you can catch them, you can usually talk them into taking everything you have and not just picking through it.

I’m basically a knockoff Blue Man Group.

It was an engineering project. The shocks are just there to confuse people further.
