    Anker products are accurate as to their output, they make 12v/5a charger with true 2.4 as well as battery packs. I have a dual output, it charges my tablet and battery pack while driving, then i use the battery pack (the 20100) to keep the tablet topped up overnight while I read kindle or watch a movie as I drift off to sleep. This keeps me off the house battery at night.

    i got the HF one. i think it was $59.99 with a coupon. i haven't used it for recharging a tablet yet but it should do the job. i got it for a jump starter if the battery voltage drops too low to start the truck.

    I am a fan of the new gen jumpstarters as you can use them as battery packs too, but insist on ones with micro USB input rather than an easily lost 12v barrel plug.
