Tow Straps... which one to buy

Pretty straightforward... looking to keep them in the truck in the event that they are needed.

I don't do a lot of major off-roading in this truck. Logging roads and the like in VT to bring out the ATVs etc. And want to be prepared encase they are ever needed. Harbor freight ones good enough or nah?

I've used a garden hose to tow once. But it wasn't a stuck vehicle in a mud hole......

 

Just go to your local farm/tractor supply type of place.
Get the better of the 3" ones with loops on both ends, 15-20k plus rating. Longer the better.
And a hitch mount with clevis.

 

I've got a harbor freight 20 footer that I've had and abused for years.

 

Master Pull has some nice stuff .

It's pricey.

 

I have the one from tractor supply and instead of the hitch and clevis i just put the loop into my hitch reciever and put the pin thru the loop. Has worked many times when i didnt think my little truck would have enough (m)ass

 

Yeah the pin thing works when your strap is new and flexible.
But after a few years and after u do a pull, Put it away and need to do another one and the loop is frozen.
Ahhh lol to much for me haha

If you're doing a lot of mud I would also invest in a kinetic strap
