    Hey y’all,
Just to preface this post, I’d like to say I’m normally a no-nonsense type of guy. I dislike when people plaster their rigs with tasteless stickers and sh*t they get when they buy an off the shelf light pod. However, people have different tastes. Like I always say, if it’s your truck you do what you want with it.

That being said, I have a real soft spot for retro Toyota anything. 70’s, 80’s what have you. That sparked my interest in Japanese cars. Blah blah blah. These windshield banners from http://jalapenosdecals.com/printed-wind-1550 are pretty cool and I thought you’d like to check them out.

In no way affiliated with the company, just think this is cool stuff. Obviously aimed more towards the car scene, but anyone who’s into retro pickups will probably have an appreciation for these. Multiple styles to choose from. Other small decals too.

I’m thinking the black TEQ banner on my 05 Superwhite Sport. The truck already has a black sun visor-ish section, so the black banner will probably look more discreet than the white banner against the white cab. Truck is going to have other black accents as well. But hey, they’re $30 so if I don’t like it I’ll probably just rip it off and try another

I'm feeling old...what's "JDM af"? I get the "af" part, but not the JDM

I am using the term sarcastically.

JDM = Japanese domestic market. Basically anything produced/sold in Japan rather than being imported to the U.S. A good example would be a R32 Skyline GTR that’s right-hand drive, not sold in America. People in the car scene would see it and say, “Woaaah that’s JDM af bro”.

I use it sarcastically because the phrase became popular and now is misused on anything Japanese and automobile related by people who don’t know a lot about imports. (That is sometimes me)

This one would look nice on darker vehicles, but I'm not sure if it would look too tacky.

From what I can tell, these seem higher quality than the typical eBay crap that’s misprinted or generic. Plus, it’s vinyl so if it looks dumb it can be easily removed.
