    The black vinyl decals look good. I’ve been trying to find a thicker black overlay, similar to my grill badge that is applied by 3M adhesive for the interior chrome.

    "Why would he do that?", you ask? To feed constant power to this custom GoPro mounting solution.

    Test drive:


    Next step is running audio cable from the cab through the firewall and up to the same mounting point to connect my external mic. I also need to figure out how to waterproof the whole mess a little better. Given that I live in the California bay area I have at least four months before I'm likely to see another drop of rain, so there's time... unless I forget to check depth on a water crossing. :D

Even though I lost the phone, it was super cool to kayak out and find the shallow-water airplane crash (from WW II era) while snorkeling! :D
