Except in cold climates where you use your heater. My phone overheats daily on my commute

I’m still cracking up on what a great idea this simple little gadget is. Of course it is made for a 3rd gen Taco only. It comes with a few different thin metal plates that attach to the phone. I didn’t even have to use an adhesive one. I just took off the outer hard shell of my Otterbox case, laid the metal plate in it, and popped it back on. Works fine.
And like Joe said, when removing the phone you just pull down on it.

I love this phone mount. It fits in the right spot, doesn't move and it's easy to remove the phone - just pull down.

Ok after reading all these post I had a iOtti Qi Charger mount that would not stick to the dash that well. It would also block some of my view. I wanted to keep my Qi charging capabilities so I decided to go with the following:

The iOtti mount has a 17mm socket this allows me to use the iOtti Qi Charging Phone Holder which mounts to the Ram ball coming off the Un-Holey Mount...

I’ll 2nd, or 3rd or 4th the Un-holey Mount from Hondo Garage. I bought two mounts with the 1” Ram Balls, the phone cord clips and a CB mic mount came in 3 days ago. I opted to simply use a RAM brand cell phone holder. Installed in 5 mins or less. Looks bad ass and couldn’t work better. I literally could not be happier. It comes with a selection of plates. Some are adhesive and some aren’t, so you have options.

Dont go buying a phone just to use this feature btw .I'm not sure of others experiences but it overheats my phone when charging to the point where it stops due to overheating.

I’ve used the “suction cup on window” and the “CD slot” mounts, and both worked fine. The CD ones were my favorite, as there is a large selection with regards to where the phone is positioned: above the slot as to not cover up a screen or vice versa, positioning it lower.

But this thing rocks. The simplicity is brilliant.
I thought I might have to use a small piece of 3M tape to keep it sercure, but so far I have not had to.

Yo, I'm hoping this is going to be as dope as it looks. I love the 'keep it simple, stupid' look compared to the other options. I also like how it doesn't block anything. Maybe one day I'll put a Qi charger on it and take it to the next level. I just put an order in. Thanks a bunch.

Great setup! I have gone with ProClip for my other vehicle, similar low profile mount and I used a magnet from Amazon (wizgear also) and works great. I wasn't too thrilled when I saw ProClips Tacoma version. This ETSY one looks great and not bulky. Ordering soon!

It's small, super easy to install, and fairly cheap...all like the Etsy mount. But this mount allows me to place it where ever I want and even move it as needed...so it can be mounted up above the radio/vents if I wanted.

This one is unbelievably simple and works great. Unless you're doing some serious off-roading it will not be an issue. Doesn't block anything and doesn't permanently stick to the dash. Very nice.

I didn't use the 1" ram that Hondo sells.
