I know this is probably impossible to give advice on....but I’m seriously considering getting a 2018 DC SB Sport in Inferno Orange. Has anyone bought this color? Still happy with it? Sick of it? Am I crazy? By the way, I’m 52, and my wife is fine with it.

    No ragerts.

Inferno is the only color I don't see like 50 of all over the damn place every day. Makes it worth it for me.

Hoping that's not the actual truck you're looking at, since that's an access cab.

Aside from that, get what makes you happy! Who gives a dick how old you are. I've seen that truck color all over town and I still think it's an awesome color. It was my second choice if I couldn't find a quicksand I liked. I say DO IT.

I have only had mine a bit more then a week, but I really like it. There is a lot of orange hood visible when driving it, but got used to it pretty quick.

I think they look better in person than they do in pictures. Just to bright of a color for me.

I know - the one I’m considering isn’t here yet. Very rare color to see in Maine.

Honestly I don’t know if it’s a good idea. If you’re from Maine I can only assume you look like this....

    296A3DCE-D619-452D-A28E-F07B64BFD841.jpg

And I think Red Plaid really clashes with Inferno Orange. Now if you tie in the Orange suspenders like this classy fellow... I think it’ll all work together.

Just kidding get the color if you like it, if you hate it in two years trade it in!!!! If you’re looking to keep it for 20 years, get MGM or another non-descript color IMHO.

Im actually heading to Maine for a week or so next month. Can’t wait. Good luck with your choice.

I agree with this. Initially I figured the color was pretty hideous. When I actually saw one in person I was really impressed. In the end it wasn't for me and ended up with a cement, but I love seeing an inferno on the road.

    Get it!!

I love the color. Absolutely no regrets. If it's not a bright sunny day, people think it's red. Everyone makes a compliment on the color.

Just make sure you are okay being "the guy with the bright orange truck", that's how everyone knows me know at work and such

Wouldn't change mine at all. Personally though I think it looks better with the chrome parts and bedside decals swapped for black ones, as I think the orange kind of clashes with slivery bits (other colors not so much).

there's a whole thread here for inferno owners. many people happy with the color. It is one of those love/hate colors though. I get comments from folks asking me what the hell I was thinking getting orange... and I tell them life's too short for boring vehicle colors and then kick in their door of their silver/white/black car like a damn ninja.

    Most of this is true.

Love mine. Granted, I've only had it three weeks, but its a gorgeous color. Then again, I hate being normal. It was either this or Quicksand.

I just don't like the orange surrounding the inside console, a little too "in your face" for me. That's my only gripe with the color, it looks great from the outside. I am unsure if the sport version has this but the off road I looked at in orange did have it and I decided to go with a different color.

Everyone around here calls Quicksand "Old man tan". If they had one on the lot, i probably would have had old man tan myself. The truck i picked was right on the show room floor, and it was everything i wanted.
