Thought i'd start one here, since shopping for a new roof rack I found it lacking on information of the k9 racks in comparisons with the front runner - a rack i was seriously looking at when making the switch to k9 on both of my rigs.

Had to make custom mounts to my rack since they traditionally mount via feet. These racks are welded and comes one piece as seen when shipped -- a big reason why I went with them over the assembled FR. They have slats that take m8/m6 hardware on both sides for the cross and lateral slats.

some things i considered when deciding between both the FR and K9 was the flatness of the rack and the accessories. The FR obviously has accessories beat over the k9 but i was not feeling the taller rack with lip.

I'd like to discuss with people who own this rack and as I continue with it mounting options of accessories or custom solutions for lacking accessories -- also wondered if some of the FR accessories would work cross platform.

Id imagine they be very similar since there are maybe a real handful of soft shelled rtt makers. I just left FSR and their tents are different than the traditional fold outs. Having dealt with most of the companies you mentioned, all have good service but equipt1 has been very good so far in communication and helping me

Thanks. I have had good customer service from equipt1 as well. I also have a couple eezi awn products and am happy with their build quality.

Interestingly enough, I was looking at Eezi-Awn earlier today. I don't see where they make a rack for Tacomas...

    Here's a great video on racks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JmNPBKIyVE

They dont make ones for the roof. Paul had mentioned they have partial ones for the roofs for those that run the habitat like what xo have
