I may or may not have read the full eBay product description for these push switches (link HERE) because I only needed 1 to use for my glove box :anonymous:

aaaaand then some more of the tool mounts, and then the last picture is my (leftover) Lexan mold to shape how I want the steel to bend with the bed so the fire extinguisher is that much closer to the bed wall

I've been using this plastic trim restorer (link --> HERE) and it's worked wonders on just the side mirror black mounting surface, and door handles - even after washing the truck multiple times, they've kept their darkness.

Lately I've been eyeballing the fade on my front bumper (2-3 years old) so I figured, why the hell not... it worked out pretty well I'd say:

I completed the job and wiped away any excess with a dry rag.

Then I hit the roof weatherstripping mounts with the dirty trim restorer soaked rags for the heck of it

Began writing a DIY for Heated Seats... I know it's been briefly touched on before... but being that I got a new camera, and some extra time on my hands... this will be a major picture dump for even the easiest of minds to follow
I went ahead and did it... plus I just kept staring at those switch blanks

It can be found --> HERE

I got a new Fiskars axe

I finally got around to bending the bottom support and mounting it all up. It’s primer is drying and I’ll paint it, then probably throw some plasti dip on the bottom support hook

So while I throw some black paint on the fire extinguisher mount steel, I ran wiring and hooked up the glove box LED push activated switch... now I just need to run to the hardware store for an Add-A-Fuse and it should be good!

...oh and I'm adding extra D-Rings in the bed of the truck too  those have been sitting on the shop bench for a little while now.... then I'm done for a while, I swear -->:drevil:

I painted and mounted extra D-Rings in the truck bed! (Pictures to come later)

Paint dried on the fire extinguisher mount, now just sewing a neoprene “boot” if you will on the lower mount that’ll constantly be in contact with the underside of the can. I don’t know how much truck/road vibrations would impact the can over time, but I also don’t want to find out!

Sewed that neoprene for the bottom mount that the fire extinguisher rests on, that should sooth any road/driving vibrations that might happen over time (like I was saying above):

Oh and I added more D-Rings to the bed, now just have to measure and cut my bed mat to expose them

Well... got into a pretty gnarly accident today. A vehicle was rear ended by an uninsured motorist so hard it flipped and landed on my canopy/hit me from behind. No life threatening injuries as far as I know. Just glad I wasn’t on my motorcycle.
