    Hey guys!

In an effort to avoid shipping costs and to support some local business's, I'm looking for a local fabrication company that could make some killer reasonably priced Skid plates for my 3rd gen Taco. Any suggestions?

Just order them and soak the shipping costs. Custom skids, after they're all said and done, will most likely end up being substantially more expensive.

My @Pelfreybilt aluminum skids are great. Shipping was reasonable.

My bad on recommending Avid. They did my sliders. Skids are from RCI, think they are in CO and shipping was reasonable

Does pelfrey charge tax in az?
They are in the San Diego area. Skids and Sea World should like a good vacation if you have some family.

I may have to end up ordering then. I wish Avid made skids, I have their sliders and love them!

On the other hand, a trip to San Diego doesn’t sound horrible!

I've done a mod or two
You could see if that RPM Fab place in Chandler is down to make you a set, they make some bumpers and such for third gens.

Maybe wait for an RCI group buy. I got a full set from them and the discount covered shipping plus some extra off during one of the group buys here.

Anyone checked their pricing out lately? Last time I checked on a bumper, they were WAAAY on the high side.

I just got sliders from RPM fab, they're sexy looking! 4 mount points and high quality welds.

If they can't make you skids, BAMF has some beefy ones.

I’m interested in this too as I still do not have a transmission skid.

No one makes one that is compatible with prerunner frame spacing either so custom is basically my only option
