Well been forever it seems but life has been a mother fracker so haven’t been able to do much to the truck. Still waiting on a new exhaust manifold to show up so I can cut it down in the right location for the turbo.
Started collecting some gauges for the cluster.

But I did get it to fire inside the truck for about 3 seconds until my second injector line blew up. And waiting on that to show up. Sorry for no video:boink:
Will get a video soon as I get the turbo mounted and a new injector line.

On the brighter side. Sold my old tow pig and picked this bad boy up yesterday

Are you still using those Peterbilt/International semi gauges?

That’s the plan. They aren’t really peterbilt gauges. They are made by the same company VDO but they don’t say peterbilt on them.

That's super cool. They're all 'analog' right? Just require signal straight from the sensors without any computerized intervention?

Yep! You obviously have to supply power and figure out what reference voltage they need but that’s not to difficult to figure out and manage. Should be pretty simple to build my own harness. Plan on running it out the firewall on the passenger side where the original harness came out.

Love it. This has to be one of my favorite builds on here next to the Chevy LS swap. Keep it up!

Well small update. I have kind of stalled out on the truck at the moment as our union is on strike and before that had been working to much trying to sell my house.

I pulled the transmission out of the truck so I could disassemble and get ready for new main shaft and adapter housing so it would accept a transfer case.
But I’m debating on changing to a zf5 if I can find one cheap. Reason I’m thinking zf5 is 1. I would have an overdrive. 2. I wouldn’t have to change bellhousing. 3. Better clutch to hold up to mods. And 4. It’s dimensions are almost identical to my t19.

But before I decide that I’m going to swap my rear leafs to Chevy 63’s. Which I built new hangers for and got my springs from the local junk yard. All in all the rear spring swap has cost me about $80.

Oh come on it’s still stock:anonymous::rofl:

My warranty on my new tow rig is going to be void soon as it eats the factory clutch :ballchain:

On a side note. Went on a little vacation to Florence Oregon for the big bronco round up with the girlfriend and her family. Made the new truck work alittle considering I crammed her 2016 Tacoma in the trailer and her quad.
Overloaded the trailer alittle bit, blew a tire and the brakes on the trailer took a dump but other then that it was a great trip! :angrygirl:
Oh and the blown power steering pump in her truck which was covered yesterday under warranty :anonymous:

    Thank you.
Getting alittle discouraged since it’s taking so long and it’s hard to dish out :spending: for parts at the moment.

It will be one awesome and unique truck when it's done though. Planning to run the motor pretty stock or beefed up at all?

After the first test runs and first season of wheeling it’ll be torn back down. Painted. And built up a lot. Plan on twin turbos. Stroker pump girdled top and bottom with nice balanced rotating assembly and all. So beefed up a lot.

But it only ran for about 30 seconds before it started leakin fuel out of a seal from the injection pump and a nice oil leak from the turbo, so I’ll take care of that before I make a video. Still has no trans but it runs!
