TT has the shock mounts and shocks inside the upper arm which i really like so im not messing around with the master and other junk. just takes alot of extra work out of the engine cage i really wasn't looking forward to doing and i can get it done and enjoy it faster. and its only 4500 vs 4900. id like to support tommy too, getting to the point im looking for best bang for the buck and not just going balls out on big expensive parts, back half is getting burg links but im keeping the tundy axle and trussing it, get some nice shafts and disk brakes vs spending 4500 for a 9". just stuff like that. im only 22 i dont need to be dumping boat loads of money into it, JDs build is really inspiring me to calm down and make it clean, not to expensive, but extremely functional. i need to start saving for a house to so thats dumb lol.

update on the truck... front end plan is to get parted out and going to get a TT race kit or a camburg race kit, still deciding but it looks like TT motorsports for sure.

but today i picked up some 37x12.5-17 Baja T/As, just need to pick up a spare.

Got some 16” coilovers with 350/450 springs and monster pure race resis the other week and just straight traded my rear bypasses.

Still need 18” bypasses, and camburg links and I’ll be able to start doing the rear end.

For the front I’m still being a bitch and not stripping it apart to get the race kit.

gonna stretch it till the coilovers clear the back of the cab and mount them there, so like a medium bed rather than a long bed.

And ill have my cage land on top of the frame and maybe do a new body mount depending on how much i will have to cut out of the stock mount.

So your still linking the 1st gen? I must of misunderstood ya. You seen how much I cut off my mount. There isn’t much support there now so I’m planing on supporting it from the cage inside. What’s left of the mount just keeps the cab square on the frame.

Hey bud if you where to put the mounting points at 6" apart, how much space would you have between them? That's what I designed my links to and just want to double check to make sure there isn't going to be issues with them hitting each other with that 6" separation.

You should be good with that if your doing a 2.5/2.5 I’m planning on bumping up to a 2.5/3.5 or 4.0 when I come across a deal so I’m going to take in that extra space when I cycle everything. Hopefully in September or January I can find a deal at the swap meet
