I think it was a year ago I did woodpecker with the AZFJ guys. Quite a bit had been plowed for mining access iirc. Maybe this years rains eroded it back out?

Stock FJC made it through with only a little spotting. Good trail for sure

It was dug out a bit and looked to have seen quite a bit of traffic? I tried to take the hard lines whenever possible. :notsure: to me it was a lot busier of a trail than say Elvis. And the rock gardens reminded me of hackBerry...if the easy lines were all taken I would agree with you for sure.

    Hey Guys,

I have a stock TRD OR 4x4 and I was looking at Pyeat Draw or Sunflower Mine - will I have any issues?

Agreed. They are both 33s and some sliders. Locker always adds to the excitement... Pyeatt is interesting and has the ability to play around.

2.5 is usually the cut-off point for 4WD. High clearance 2WD with a decent driver on a good day... especially if you air down some, take your time, and use common sense.

I just did Sunflower mine last weekend to test out upgrades for Moab and Rubicon, and it was a lot of fun. Nothing too crazy.

    Lots, straight from the factory.
When you describe this, are you meaning start at 258 and end at 258, or start at 258 and end at Sycamore Canyon Road?

I ask, as your description is from 258 to 258, but I would rate this as a 4 to a 4.5. Last year when I owned a Razor, I took it through there and it was pretty rowdy. The road had been washed out with ruts over 24” deep. I was on three wheels a lot of the time and at times two wheels. I also was concerned at one point that we may roll end over end.

Thanks for posting all these. There are a lot of people I will direct to this thread. Nice documentation. I have been on every one you mentioned aside of Smasher. We took the Razor back a little ways on Smasher and realIzed quickly that it was out of the vehicle’s capability, as well at that time it was out of my driving capability.

I have at least 40 trails I have mapped. I just need to figure out how to map between the start and end points, and then how to share it on Google Maps.

258 to 258. This was written 4 years ago. Trail conditions may have changed since that time. As always, people should go prepared for the unexpected and with a willingness to turn around if it's prudent to do so.

Broken arrow is doable in stock Off-road 4x4 and airing down a bit? Also how much camping is there out on Outlaw. Prob going to be over on the west side of Sedona for the first night of a weekend I've got coming up.
