    Hey I’m running a Magnuson S/C with their tune and the 2.85 stealth pulley, stock intake with AFE pro dry filter. Just ordered the URD Walbro 255 kit.

    I was considering the AFE intake and was wondering if it was really worth it while running the stock exhaust. I’m sure it flows better, but is there really a noticeable improvement? I’ve tried searching but most turn up with N/A motors and all just seem to be noise makers. With the S/C application the intakes seemed to be done at the same time or before the S/C install. Next step is to call Magnuson to see if that combo would still be safe to run with their tune.

    Also I’ve pulled the jet and been running the FPR mod for about 1500 miles. Power seems smoother, but it doesn’t seem to pull as hard up top. I’m just going to put the jet back in today and run it. I did disconnect the battery to reset the ECU after I did the mods.

    Stock cats?
    Odds are with only the 2.85 as a mod you dont need the boost reference and your running so rich, you are costing some hp and killing your cats (you said its not pulling as hard).

    Have an afr setup?
    If not, get one.... guessing isnt a good idea.

    Are you running the Mag tune for the 2.85 pulley? When I did the AFRs were Fubar. Only once I reverted to the stock SC tune the AFRs were back to normal.
