    2015 Tacoma trd off-toad
    New member, looking to get the toytec boss lift. They give you the option to buy new controll arms with the lift. Wondering if this is necessary or will my factory controll arms be just fine with a little adjusting. Any info would be greatly apriciated, thanks!!!

    Welcome! If you’re going more than 2” it’s recommended to get new upper control arms to maintain proper alignment.

    If you go more than 2”, you loose the ability to get enough caster and the steering gets squirrelly/nervous.

    I would start without new UCAs and see if you’re happy at 2”.
