Does anyone happen to know the weight of the stock steel 15in rim? Looking for the weight without tire, please. Been looking high and low for this.

Rotational mass calculations and possible wheel replacement based on weight

This is the one with the ovals around the center section, the 'spare' wheel. Like I'm currently running in the pic below.

Weight is a bare wheel. No weights or trim.

I have a spare one in my attic I just went and weighed for you.

The scales were calibrated against airport luggage scales in the last month and the Dr.s office digital scales yesterday, so they are pretty good.

    I'm running 235 75 15, no suspension mods.

You can always upgrade your breaks to help compensate for rotational mass.

Larger tires add alot of weight. Ik when i went to 17” rims with a 30” tire my breaks felt pretty weak but after just upgrading rotors and pads there was an improvement in breaking and felt. Like i was back at stock.

Thank you very much for weighing it out for me

Those wheels look really good. Are they just the spares with chrome trim rings?

Thanks. Spares were budget friendly for my poor little 5 lug.

    Rings are polished stainless.
