    New drive line numbers:

    First number - 7.0

    Second number - 9.0

    Third number - ~ .0 to .1

    9.0 - 7.0 = 2.0

    2.0 - .1 = 1.9

I think a 2 degree shim is what I need to solve the vibration issue.

    :yay:

Every rear end I've ever had to shim needed thick to the rear....(raise pinion snout)

    "More Money Monday"

    - Remaining dual battery supplies, minus the batteries; ORDERED.

    - 2 degree axle shim from HeadStrong Offroad; ORDERED.

    - J.T. Brooks 1000 Pro Auto tire deflators; ORDERED. LINK

Too hot this weekend for anything other than lake house activities. Nothing done on the truck other than finalizing the driveline vibes and once I install the shim, we should be all set. The only nice thing about the heat is that the spray painted pieces from last week had good conditions to set well.

Snapped some pics of Caitlyn at the lake house. These are just on the iPhone 7 plus. I took some with my DSLR that I can dump here later today or this week.

    unnamed.jpg unnamed (1).jpg unnamed (2).jpg

I also received the new pin for the swingout locking handle from Poly Performance. I hope to swap that out tonight.

Waiting for parts sucks! :frusty: And the weather doesn't help either! Rain yesterday and today!!

    Current list:

    - Axle shim kit
    - Tire Deflators
    - Battery supplies

Oh, I forgot to mention that one of my LUX rock lights burnt out. Since I got them from my brother, I had him reach out and they are sending another one. As soon as I get it, I can replace it.

Hopefully my brother can get someone to swap his BAMF shock relocation and burn in his front Ford shock towers so I can get his 12" Kings and then blow apart the whole rear suspension AGAIN for the front Dakar bushings, axle shims and 12" Kings. I just want to get it all done at one time in one day; one and done.

Also, I heard back from the second local shop that I reached out to about the TC cam tab kit install. They specialize in Jeeps, but I know they could handle the work.I was quoted $450 not including an alignment. Like I said, I am not in a rush, but fuck, that's still a lot.

There is a local swap meet/meet and greet this Saturday at the shop that quoted me $500. Perhaps I can do some networking and see if there is a custom fab guy that does work on the side and won't charge an arm and a dick for this. Maybe I am just being a cheap SOB. I also have a lot of items to sell that should sell that day. Already sold my bumper (SPF) and am meeting the guy at the meet Saturday. Perhaps it will go towards this work I need done or a Louis V purse for the wife that she's been bugging me for..we will see.

How is it only Tuesday?? Where's Friday? :tumbleweed:

Ummmmmmm, holy shit man! Always good to get parts. Price does seem a little high still. Hopefully can find someone that wants to make a little money on the side.

Unfortunately it's only Tuesday but it's getting there.

I wonder how much less it would be for this shop if it was a Jeep and I got the mall crawler discount.

Banking on a fabricator or the local TW guy in IN. But that's still a good way away in July and I don't have a price yet. But at least when I go to him, I lend as much of a hand as I can to the cause. I'm perfectly fine working on my own shit, but know when to leave it to a professional when it's needed.

Should try asking my buddy with the friend that did my hoops if it was a one time deal or if he's interested in making some money. This guy is like 10-15 minutes away and that would be great if he wants my money.

No one wants money or wants too much so they don't get it from me...

    I hear that!!

Literally shopping for our next house focused around the garage/driveway configuration. Unfortunately have to wait until next spring before summer starts when everyone wants to buy/sell before school starts again. Some other personal items affect the next house too. Ducks have to be in a row first. I'm anxious and excited though!!!

Find what you want and make ridiculous low offers. Eventually someone will accept.

That's how I've ended up owning 6 houses.

 Six!? I hated doing it once let alone doing it again.

We're both starting to hate the city and the lots being so close, literally on top of each other. Like I mentioned in another post, things are really starting to get out of hand in our current setup and it's time to consider bigger and better opportunities.

I keep buying, rent em, and move to the best ones as we can. Positive cash flow about $ 3300 a month and a home.

Thought about doing that with the current house. It's in a great neighborhood and should sell fast and even possibly start a bidding war. It's on the very far edge of the city so you still have a Chicago address but still have a VERY, VERY nice neighborhood with good schools, etc. Considering what we've done with the place and local homes in the immediate area selling really high, we aim to make a decent profit on the place.

We exsist up here as well....

You really have two options as a Toyota enthusiast up here: do it yourself, or pay crazy money to have a "shop" do it wrong.

Shout-out to Michael at @Pelfreybilt for all the help with replacement parts and pieces for a full bumper refresh. They should offer a kit for sale on their site with everything. I appreciate the great customer service and them shipping me everything for free.

I can confirm, however, that the initial T-handle pin they sent me was for the pivot point where the swingout locks open and not the latch handle. Again, when I reached out to Michael, he confirmed with Tyler that the poly performance part linked below is the correct part number for the latch handle:

    https://www.polyperformance.com/synergy-spring-loaded-t-handle-pull-pin-p180te

I was able to swap it out in under a minute and made sure to coat it with some grease so it didn't seize:

    8E96C095-B2DC-436A-AA0C-6A0A32E7CFC3.jpg

Should be a lot nicer to grip than the ball head and not have it slip. Especially in the rain.. slippery balls aren't a good thing..wait..

Anyways, I just wanted to thank Pelfreybilt again for all they have done for me to get this older model bumper updated and working as if it were brand new. Their customer service is outstanding and their products truly like up to their name and stand up to the abuse. Thanks again Tyler, Satin, Michael and everyone else on the Pelfreybilt team!! You guys rock!!
