I also agree. Glad it's going into the local TW community, too.

I'm thinking driver side on front of my bed rack so I can tie it down when not it use. I could go 6 foot on a angle or 4 foot straight up. Are most people getting good results with 4 footers? I feel like I missed out on some fun at flagpole because of not having a CB.

Is that damage too high up where sliders wouldnt have made a difference?

the one near the fender a slider wouldn't have done anything. The one near the Tacoma logo sliders would have stopped

My only major body damage I’ve ever gotten was from sleepy creek. Was squeezing between two trees (while off camber) and I rocked over into it.

Mine was from going up hill and sliding on the mud, if I wasn't paying attention it would have been ALOT worse. My friend whos from Inwood straight up told me that they NEVER take anything nice up there.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
30x24. Loving it. Now to insulate it (maybe) add cabinets, storage, tool boxes, etc.

I think a 4 ft there would be ok. I have a 5ft where my tail light is. If you put it at the ditch light, you might want a 3ft

Yeah, shit's expensive. I got lucky and got mine for $30 from some rando on CL. I wouldn't have bought it otherwise, but it is extremely nice to have.

    A thing or two...
Install should be quick and easy if your shifter is in spec. The shifter in my truck was oversized, so it an all day ordeal to get it to fit.
