Managed a hike this morning. At least I cleansed my body of all the toxins from last night. Took 30 minutes longer than the previous time up pyramid and sucked down all 3 liters of water. Ready for a shower and a nap.

100 push-ups completed. I did 4 sets of 25 this afternoon. I'm hoping tomorrow I can find out what gyms I can qualify for and start going to one this week.

Another 100 push-ups. Tomorrow I have my first CrossFit session, I’m curious how that goes!

    Awesome

Making progress still on my own.

Delayed Monday to Tuesday, but knocked it out and followed up with a short run, Squats and Deadlifts last night. Tweaked my plan a little this week to better accommodate the riding and hiking I'm trying to do on the weekends.

29 workouts down, tomorrow will be 30 recorded in an app since I put together the garage gym. Way way beyond what I probably expected.

Sadly, been lazy. Since we might get below 100 degrees this weekend, planning on hiking no matter what time of day.

Agreed. Gotta get my legs back under me and whittle away at the belly before trying to ride out of state in a couple months.

Crossfit this morning done. They went easy on me since it's day one. Day 2 of fundamentals is Saturday morning, followed by Monday/Tuesday. It was killing me this morning, but I guess I gotta pay for all those double quarter pounder with cheese meals at some point right?

My strength training and metcons have been great lately.... I need the same motivation when it comes to calories. Ive been eating clean. About 90 percent paleo blue print but probably too many delicious fats keeping my cals too high.

Quick hike up old man at South Mountain. Awesome day to be on the trail! Getting my legs back and not sucking wind half way up the trail. Still need to watch my diet better as the weight is not coming off!

    Nice dude.

Got another week down with 3 days in the garage. 30 workouts in 13 weeks, so only 9 missed workouts somewhat early on.

Mountain bike ride done this morning with some moderate climbing that felt good to clean. Crowded parking lot with the fresh weather.

    Hiking mañana hopefully.

I'm down a couple pounds this week. Finally motivated enough to try to limit the soft drinks and stop the fried sides.

Another hike today but pulled or tweaked something in my lower back. Made for a long and slow hike back to the truck. Trying to stretch and work it out but I feel like an old man right now.
Anybody get a workout in today? It is beautiful outside!

Ouch. Hate the tweaks in areas that are tough to stretch.

I wanted to, but full of excuses and distractions, so just did a little yard work, parked the trailer, and laying around this morning.

CrossFit day 3, tomorrow is the last day of fundamentals before I start. I'm still debating between 3 or 5 days a week to start as I don't want to overdo it, but I really want to get into shape too. So I'm thinking M-F @ 0530 and take Saturday off (they're closed Sunday).

3 to 4 days of work for every rest day works well for me. If Sunday falls on a work day do a long run or hike maybe?

    Day 7 of eating Keto.
Worked out 3 days last week, doing the usual sit-ups, push ups, curls, and other barbell work outs.

Down 4lbs so far eating like a beast still, and feeling good, have gotten rid of pretty much all sugar, and carbs down into the 20-30g a day range so barely anything. Only hard part is I miss the shit out of ketchup for burgers, and crave ice cream.

Just spent a good $50 at Whole Foods for some almond flour, and a bunch of different natural sweetener replacements to help make some Keto low carb desserts to help the cravings at least.

Start slow especially with cross fit work outs. They are designed for you to fail and be tough. Allot of injury's from CrossFit . You get tired and your form goes to shit and that's how injuries acur.
