Hi guys, I am looking at doing the following to my truck and would like opinions, cheaper alternatives, and/or more expensive alternatives that offer the best bang for my buck.

    1. Tonneau Cover (thinking going used or buying one off Amazon or eBay for around $230)

    2. Bed Mat or Line-X

    3. Seat Covers (going with Costco, unless you guys HIGHLY reccomend the Pvc or leather Clazzio's

    4. Black out emblems (plastidip?)

    5. Black out chrome bumper (again, plastidip?)

    6. Window tint

    7. Cup inserts (these are $30 on Amazon, could I DIY these with some supplies from harbor freught)

    8. TRD PRO grille (iffy on this since I don't wanna mess up my TSS)

    9. KB Voodoo Hi rise racks

    10. Some kind of head unit that has Android auto/apppl Carplay because the entire one is garbage when it comes to recognizing what I want to do when I use GPS)

    11. TRD sport scoop hood (hood swap thread isn't looking promising... Thinking about buying a new one or trying to find a junk yard cement pro or sport hood)

    12. 3m wrap to protect paint

    Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Bartact covers, Hondo knobs, OEM bed cover, Subie Tweeters, interior chrome delete, a/c hose extension/relocate, blacked lower bumper, OEM bed extender and mat, Stealth running boards, debadged
Is that the order in which you want to mod?

    My $.02:
-I have the Bartact seat covers. Sweet, customizable, and waterproof.

-heck yes to the bed mat.

-Keep your headunit and wait for an entune update with Carplay. WE all are. Just dont hold your breath. But get the Hondo knobs. Factory knobs are garbage.

-plenty of guys here dip/derp their chrome with black. They can offer you insight/advice but the subdued looks way better. Mine came blacked out otherwise would have derpd.

No order in particular, but definitely want to protect my truck. So tonneau, bed liner, wrap truck will probably be first

    Awesome, thank you.

Ill look into bartacs and the bedmat, any brand you recommend in particular?

Also, how did you get blacked out emblems from the factory??

I have the Tyger soft tri-fold tonneau from Amazon and it's worked pretty well for the last year and a half. Some of the stitching is starting to pull out of the outer edges where it folds.

Unless money is no object I'd get the bed mat over the spray in liner.

I also have the Costco seat covers and they're mediocre. They replaced some cheap Amazon covers that fit and breathed better but collected too much dog hair for my liking. If it wasn't for the dog hair I would be swapping back to the Amazon covers.

Just came on the truck as an option.

I personally like the bartacts but a lot of guys here like costco, clazzio, or carhart covers.

You can grab the OEM bedmat for about 90 or so on Amazon

And final advice I could chime on: tonneau

I have the OEM. Meh. I would prefer a bakflip. Mainly due to the third panel being able to fold up against the vab on the bakflip. The third panel does not fold on OEM so you would have to completely remove/lift off if you wanted to use the whole bed. Swing by a dealer and play with one.

Softopoer. Way more versatile than tonneau.

I highly recommend the Clazzio seat covers-- was one the first mods I did to my truck. Have had them for about a year and half and they still look like the day I installed them.

I don't know much about the 3M wrap-- but I do have my truck ceramic coated with Ceramic Pro (I got the gold package) and I absolutely love it. Stays cleans and protected and much easier to wash. Just something else you can look into.

For me, the priority was floor mats (Weathertechs) and seat covers (Wet Okoles) to protect the interior and because I have dogs. Then because I’ve never owned a truck without a canopy I got that on order as soon as I took delivery of the truck (Snugtop). While I was waiting for those to be delivered and seeing as I came from a Gen 2 that had all the cubbies I had to do something to organize the center console and glovebox (OCD organizers) plus a phone holder on the dash (Wizgear).

My truck came with a bedmat and at first I was on the fence about it, but now I really like it because it is easy on the knees and it keeps stuff from slide around.

Now that I’ve got the basics out of the way I’m looking at suspension upgrades and tires, but those took a backseat to the above (plus while I wait for the back account to resusitate itself after buying the truck and canopy).
